100 WFC: Long Rides by Steven Sanner

100 word fiction contest continues…. #100WFC Long Rides by Steven Sanner with illustration by Wayfarer After over 40 years of her by my side, she is gone. You always hear how tough real bikers are. Seldom will you see them cry. That’s because the wind drys the tears while we ride to clear our heads and handle the emotions. We use the rain, and the water drops in the shower to mingle and mix with the tears that no one sees. We know that the emotions and pain prove we are still alive, and accept the strength that comes from it. I may seem like a tough old emotionless bastard, but excuse me if I have to go for a long lonely ride. * * * Read all the entries at: https://www.bikernet.com/pages/100_Word_Fiction_Contest.aspx Yup, its a weekly contest open to all. 100 WFC: Preacher Run by J J Solari

100 word fiction contest continues…. #100WFC Preacher Run by J J Solari with unholy illustration by Wayfarer Some preacher self-absorbed pile of sanctimonious piety yelled at me, “Do you know what you need to do to be saved???” ….all accusatory. I said, “Yeah: be born after 33AD, cockfuck, which I was. Is that about how you gut it figured?” Apparently it wasn’t. He proceeded to order me to Hell. I said “Will you be there?” He said not a chance. I said “I’m on my way!!” He managed to get even more infuriated. Which, based on his current level of fulminary spittle-spraying, I thought very impressive. * * * Yup, its a weekly contest open to all. Just sign up for the free weekly newsletter by clicking here. Rode Alone Revisited

Bandit informs us as he battles heartache and hustlers in this story The Blues in the West…and a Choice for Freedom Bandit read her note again in a cafe. It was 1:00 a.m. His heart hoped it wouldn’t happen, but his instinct sensed it…. in her delicate features and her sultry voice. She was on the drift. Without her there was nothing worth having in his life. An intense desire to have her engulfed him. Maybe it had to do with motorcycles and how they made him feel the adventure in unknown possibilities. His chopper and a 4-inch barrel J.D. Crow engraved pistol were all he needed as he rolled. His boots and his Beretta pocket knife completed his daily gear. When he got home from working the oil fields, he popped a Voodoo Ranger beer and met the icy envelope in the fridge. She could be cold. 100 WFC: Ride by Rhys

100 word fiction contest continues…. #100WFC Ride by Rhys with illustration by Wayfarer Woke up on Saturday. Rushed to get dressed and gulped down a quick cup of coffee. It was late fall when I had finally picked up my new Road Glide, which I parked in the garage. With anticipation off the charts, I looked over my shiny new steed. Pulled on my 5-Ball leather and then hit the button for the garage door. Shit, there was a foot of new snow. Damn New England weather. Went back to bed. * * * Yup, its a weekly contest open to all. Deadly Attachment: new biker fiction

by Ujjwal Dey with illustrations by Wayfarer Love Triumphs Where Fate Falters As a handyman, Richard had little to offer than stained clothes and bleached hands. He had worked odd jobs so often and so many, the obvious thing to do was to list himself on classifieds for any small home-repairs. Decidedly, he climbed out into the cold night to the back alley where he had chained his Triumph Bonneville. Few had chopped a Triumph since it was such a collectible. 100 WFC: Shallow Grave

100 word fiction contest continues…. #100WFC Shallow Grave by Rhys (illustration by Wayfarer) Gary finished his Triumph chopper metal flake gold with helmet to match. Out for a shakedown run. Cruising back roads all seemed good, until a truck rounded the bend on the wrong side. Both rider and bike slid off the road. Gary awoke in the ditch his bike several feet away. In incredible deep pain, a bone protruded through his jeans. He yanked off his helmet and flung it up onto the road hoping a passerby would see it. A car stopped. The driver snatched the lid and left. Did he hear Gary’s screams? The DWP crew found Gary’s lifeless body a week later. * * * * * * * * Yup, its a weekly contest open to all. 100 WFC: Desert Daze by Wayfarer

100 word fiction contest continues…. #100WFC Desert Daze by Wayfarer with artwork by Wayfarer My iron roared in the wind, the sand-strewn road to Las Vegas stretched hot. An extra bandana tied to my left wrist. I got two at Bandit’s Cantina. Hopping like a mad rabbit I struggled to keep up with my pals jamming ahead on V-Twin steeds. My Bandit’s bedroll balanced over my handlebars. Suddenly, a fresh crimson cloth flashed in front of my eyes, an untied bikini top. A topless stranger hitchhiking, a mirage? My drum brakes screamed. “Not sure my Bandit’s Bandanas will do the trick,” I noted. She stared into my eyes, giggled, then climbed on board. I would’ve died if she hadn’t. * * * * * * * * Yup, its a weekly contest open to all. Just sign up for the free weekly newsletter by clicking here.
