From Discipline to Wild Custom Choppers
By Bandit with photos from Sam

It better be a good one, goddammit. About 1970 I completed another sweat-soaked tour off the coast of Vietnam, my last one. The winding down war took on a pot-smoking air of wonderful R&B tunes, loose broads, long hair and a constant party.

Cantina Episode 91: Will Success Return to the Covid Cantina

It’s Touch and Go in the Badlands
by K.Randall Ball

Bandit roared down Spearfish Canyon and his mind settled with every curve and the rumble of his exhaust blasting off the sheer cliffs and Jack Pines. He came to a stretch where lush pines were knocked over like chess pawns on a polished mahogany game table.

He slowed as he rounded a curve and gazed at large, almost 200-year-old Jack Pines knocked flat, like a tabletop toothpick container run over by a truck. It seemed unnatural and freaky as he twisted his throttle and continued to roar up the canyon toward Cheyenne Crossing and his Bandit’s Cantina food truck.

It dawned on him that a recent monsoon like rain contained a tornado threat. Mother nature’s power touched down in the canyon and ripped through the trees like a drunk truck driver through fence posts. He reached back to check the strapped down cash box. It vibrated with the road’s surface but was still secure. Bandit looked ahead just as a squirrel darted into the lane.

Restrictive Bikernet Weekly News for December 17, 2020

Let’s See How it All Plays Out

I’m packing shit and checking my list for the run to Deadwood. Next year will wake up the world to many issues. I joke about following the right path. Hopefully, we can all find a comfortable, clear and honest one.

But I will always believe freedom works.

Best Little Whorehouse in Deadwood, SD

By | General Posts

Published in Easyriders Magazine in 1981 Xmas issue
By Bandit, Mike and Billy Tinney

This is too strange. I bought a house in Deadwood in the historic President’s district. It’s about 100 years old and so are the streets and retaining walls. Recently contacted by the Historic Society about my retaining wall, the boss asked. “Do you know about this article and how we can get in touch with the photographer?”

I asked to see what he found and he sent me shots of the pages. It was written by Billy Tinney. Billy was once a Bandido for a short period and a constantly traveling photographer for Easyriders magazine for over 50 years. He’s currently trying for pull photography from his massive archives for the next issue of Choppers Magazine. So, he said he would look for the brothel file from 1981.

Sam’s Picks for the Week of December 6, 2020

By | General Posts

This is a strange one. I’ve been an outlaw most of my life and my drug of choice was women. I don’t know how to explain or if I can. I’m not proud to say, Laurie was one of the first episodes in a series of many. I’m reading a book by Dr. Pat Allen. She says it’s in our genes to chase women for as long as our testosterone levels are raging. It’s the nature of the evil beast to keep our human craziness alive.
