My generation partied and raised hell, but I was fortunate enough to be confronted with the fight for freedom and the processes. It made me more aware and attuned to the shit going on behind the party. It’s like sometimes you party, but sometimes you fight. Right now, we’re fighting. Yesterday alone, I help a friend load 4 cords of firewood into his garage yesterday morning, found parts for his ’60 Panhead project, took his fork tubes to the machine shop to be shortened. Met with my Dragon painter and gave him a deposit on his work. I’ve discussed my knucklehead paint project with numerous sources. Looks like I might paint it myself. But then I need to prepare a portion of the shop for painting. Well, for this minute, that’s all, but hang on. The projects never end. It was Halloween so we rolled into Sturgis to the Ugly MC headquarters for a party. Have a fantastic Holiday Season. Honda CR Electric Makes Racing Debut

Honda CR Electric has made an impressive beginning in All Japan Motocross Championship last weekend. It debuted at Round 8, competing against 450cc gas-powered motorcycles in the IA1 class. All Japan Motocross Championship was held at Saitama. Team Honda HRC advisor and test rider Trey Canard rode the Honda CR Electric prototype as a wildcard entry, setting the second fastest time in the opening practice session. He qualified in fifth overall on Saturday. Canard finished second in the first of three motos behind reigning champion Jay Wilson of Yamaha on race day. Together, the electric bike and Canard made their fastest single lap time at 1:37.195, which was the second overall behind Wilson’s 1:36.503. Canard crashed out early in second and third motos. Be confident about the truth and freedom It’s amazing in the Black Hills. I love the mornings. Got so many projects and so little time. Think about it. We a living in the best of times from the standpoint of science, technology, communications and health (exception of Covid) but our leaders, elected officials are scared, bullied, bullies, control freaks and avoiding the truth. Get this. The last two issues of the AMA magazine have not mentioned any legislative issues. Did they miss the SEMA report or have they been taken over? The new MIC (Motorcycle industry Council) report just came out. No legislative alerts. What’s going on? If I was confident about anything it’s in the truth and freedom. Hey, It’s timely and maybe not. Life is so ironic even to an old grubby biker. On one side folks want to ban smoke. They are very afraid. It’s all nuts. It’s all the best of times in the Black Hills of South Dakota. We took my Mossberg 12 gauge pistol with a 14-inch barrel and blew the shit out of everything in its path. There was one other shooter at the open range outside Deadwood, Scott. Tremendously knowledgeable about my old, used shortened hunting rifle, an 1885 Krag 30-40, he coached us on the rifle and helped tune the sight. Fred Cuba threw his first Twisted Nipple Event in Nebraska. You’ll see a report shortly. FACTORY HARLEY-DAVIDSON RIDER KYLE WYMAN WINS SUNDAY KING OF THE BAGGERS RACE AT NEW JERSEY MOTORSPORTS PARK Vance & Hines/Harley-Davidson racer Hayden Gillim Wins Saturday Race and Crowned King of the Baggers Series Champion MILWAUKEE (September 24, 2023) – Harley-Davidson® Screamin’ Eagle® factory rider Kyle Wyman scored his seventh win of the season and Vance & Hines/Mission Foods Harley-Davidson rider Hayden Gillim secured the season championship on Sunday in the final race of the 2023 MotoAmerica Mission King of the Baggers series at New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, N.J. Vance & Hines/Mission Foods rider James Rispoli finished second in the championship standings and Wyman was third as Harley-Davidson riders claimed the top three spots in final series points. “It’s been one of, if not the best, year of my life,” said Gillim, who won three races with eight additional podium finishes on the season. “I’m really happy to bring this home for Vance & Hines, for Mission Foods, and for Harley-Davidson. Next season will be a real scrap in this series. Honestly the field is stacked, and if everybody stays next year it’s going to be a tough championship to hold onto.” In the Friday qualifying session, Wyman broke his own New Jersey Motorsports Park class lap record of 1:24.447 aboard his race-prepared Harley-Davidson® Road Glide® motorcycle. That time would never be approached for the rest of the weekend, as rain resulted in very wet to damp conditions on the 2.25-mile, 12-turn road course on Saturday and Sunday.
