JIMS No. 5530 Remote Fuel Supply for Fuel Injected Motorcycles

Fuel tank removal is often required for service and diagnostics. Additionally, the tank may need to be off while the engine is running. This presents a problem for fuel injection systems that have the fuel pump in the tank. To deal with this, JIMS now offers a complete “plug and play” solution. A compact, remote fuel tank that is pressurized with air to supply fuel to the EFI system. Designed to safely handle the required pressure, JIMS Remote Fuel Supply can run a motorcycle without being connected to an air supply. Once pressurized, the tank is completely mobile and can be easily hung from the handlebar or attached to a workbench or tool chest. JIMS No. 5530 Remote Fuel Supply includes all necessary OEM fittings to plug directly into the fuel line on all Delphi Fuel Injected Harley-Davidson models except for V-Rod. The suggested retail price is $339.00 and it can be seen in action on our YouTube page, JIMS USA. Advertisement

New Product Spotlight—La Rosa La Linea Seats

When Don La Rosa first set out designing a two-up seat for Sportsters, he decided that it needed to be comfortable, look good, have style, easy to install and fit as many models as possible. What he came up with was the La Linea Café Seat.   These full size café style seats have been to designed to fit all 2004 and up Sportster models regardless of the tank size with the exception of the XR 1200’s. To achieve this broad fitment, Don La Rosa began by designing a seat pan to fit the rubber mounted frame that was introduced in 2004. He then modified it to accommodate the MotorCompany’s relocation of the ECU that was introduced on all Sportsters in 2010. Finally Don created two different seat profiles; the La Linea which translates to the “The Line” and the La Linea Sottile which translates to the “The Thin Line”. All La Linea seats uses a fiberglass seat-base and steel hardware for strength and stability. Comfort comes from using the finest high-density foam. The eye catching style and durability is provided by a top quality marine grade vinyl cover. These seats are available with a Plain Black finish or with a Tuk N Roll, Diamond Tuk, or Flame pattern sewn into them. In addition when selecting one of the pattern seats consumers have their option of thread colors to pick from. The best part of all is the MSRP is an affordable $299. Artist Spotlight — Scott Jacobs

This painting depicts a story of a biker pulling over to see the Mt. Rushmore for the first time, hence the title “Face to Face”. Little do most people know that the model is Scott’s late father, Dallas. It was his first time coming to South Dakota and he had no idea that he’d be the model for Scott’s Official 69th Sturgis piece in 2009. They simply started dressing him up in biker gear at the monument’s Observation Deck. Click here for more information.

Veterans Come To The Rescue Of A Fellow Stranded Rider, Bruce Springsteen, End Getting Flack For It… Really?

From CNN Note: No matter what our beliefs may be, at the end of the day we’re all riders, we’re all American and we’re all in this together, for better or for worse—you know what I mean. So we might as well make this ride a good one, because no-one else will . Dan Barkalow did not think twice before stopping by the side of the road near Freehold, New Jersey, to help out a stranded fellow biker. Then he noticed the guy looked familiar. It was none other than Bruce Springsteen. “It’s a day I probably won’t forget for a while,” Dan Barkalow, 54, told CNN. “The moment I got off the bike I saw it was him, and he was a real nice, down-to-earth guy.” After sharing their brush with Jersey royalty on the Facebook page for the Freehold American Legion – Monmouth Post 54, however, the bikers said they experienced an unexpected backlash. “What started out as a story of interest posted to our American Legion Facebook page has devolved into a nauseating political altercation full of vitriol and insults, none of which are from our members,” said a statement on the page. ” If we are to survive as a nation both sides have to stop the hate.” “It’s pretty disgusting,” Barkalow said later of the nasty comments. “All I know is, I’m a pretty humble guy. I just stopped to help someone out.” Read the entire story here.
