We wish it was an April Fools story. Currently at the experimental stage in three counties in France, here's a very sneaky radar featuring a new type of fixed camera that's particularly difficult to spot. Five of these rigs have been fabricated and are currently being tested in rural areas where these cows are commonplace. This type of camouflage has been used since 2013 in Italy, where the results were particularly 'good': 58% of excessive speeding recorded during the first 6 months. If deemed successful, the experiment could soon be extended to the entire French territory. Adjustments will be made according to local domestic fauna: watch out for fake sheep, goats and dummy chickens!
