New Flat Out Leather Vest from 5-Ball Racing

We’ve developed this from a notion by Jeremiah Soto. After awhile, we discovered several improvements and went to work on manufacturing a new model. This puppy is too cool with comfortable invisible hand pockets in the front, traditional western leather chest pockets with snaps. Two deep gun, phone or camera pockets on the inside and out official, exclusive media pocket in the back. And the price is right. –Bandit CLICK HERE TO SHOP LEATHERS AND GEAR NOW https://shop.bikernet.com/

BMW S1000RR review: The latest version of the super superbike is, well, quite superb

by Fraser Addecott from https://www.mirror.co.uk Fraser puts the German firm’s hugely popular thousand to the test – just before the lockdown kicked in – and finds he runs out of superbike superlatives As someone who grew up riding Japanese sportsbikes, I still find it a little surprising that the definitive model for the past few years has not derived from the Land of the Rising Sun. No, it’s German manufacturer BMW Motorrad which has, arguably, dominated the supersports market – in the form of its S1000RR. The bike was first introduced in 2009, when just 1,000 were produced in order to meet homologation requirements for the firm’s new World Superbike Championship machine. Since then, it has racked up successes in that series, the Superstock 100 competition and the Macau Grand Prix – not to mention multiple Isle of Man TT wins. The S1000RR was given updates in 2012 and again in 2015. This latest version I am testing here came out last year and represents a major overhaul. Claudio De Martino, BMW’s vehicle technology team leader, told Mirror Motorcycling: “Our brief was to take the predecessor model – which has been a dominating force in all disciplines for 10 years – and significantly improve on its performance. “This we translated into straightforward targets – one second faster on the track, more than 10kg lighter and easier to control. “These targets were taken as the basis for every decision.” Claudio and has team were true to their brief – the new engine produces a whopping 207bhp, an increase of 8bhp on its predecessor and the bike has dropped from 208kg to 197kg. It is also more controllable with an enhanced ride due to a redesigned main frame, even better suspension and improved technology, such as traction and wheelie control. The red

Harley-Davidson celebrates 50th anniversary of XR750

The 2020 season marks the 50th year since the debut of the XR750, a motorcycle raced, wrenched on, and beloved among the American Flat Track (AFT) paddock to this day. To celebrate the anniversary, Harley-Davidson Super Twins and Production Twins bikes along with the Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines NHRA Pro Stock motorcycles will feature the historic colour of Harley-Davidson competition motorcycles, Jet Fire Orange, along with team haulers, uniforms, and branded accessories. “The XR750 is the winningest motorcycle in AMA Pro Racing motorcycle history,” said Jon Bekefy, general manager of brand marketing at Harley-Davidson, Inc. “Harley-Davidson is taking its 50th anniversary as a moment to reflect on the legacy and individuals who have designed, engineered, tuned, and raced the XR750 during its years of competition, and to celebrate Harley-Davidson’s 2020 racing efforts.” Born in 1970 with the advent of the new AMA Racing equivalency formula, the XR750 was created by Harley-Davidson’s race team manager Dick O’Brian and team to replace the highly successful outgoing KR750. Using a Harley-Davidson Sportster-based engine, the XR750 utilised modified cast-iron heads and cylinders, a magneto instead of generator, and improved oiling. In 1972 a new, more powerful all-aluminum alloy XR750 engine was introduced. The perfected machine dominated flat track racing for decades to come. Between 1972 and 2008, the XR750 would go on to win 28 of 37 AMA Grand National Championships. The XR750 racked up more wins than any other motorcycle in AMA racing history and earned the description of being the “most successful race bike of all time.” In addition, the XR750 became a cultural icon with legendary stuntman Evel Knievel at the handlebars. Evel Knievel began jumping an XR750 at the height of his career from 1970 to 1976, and alongside the exploits of the racing versions of the XR750 inspired

In addition to supporting the pro riders in AFT, Dunlop has also created an amateur program designed to help grow the sport by providing support and more exposure to young racers. Monocle motorcycle racing series heads to Aldo Scribante

Aldo Scribante will be the scene for some exciting motorcycle action when the Monocle Series of Motorcycle Magic heads to the Bay this weekend. Featuring several racing classes, the event is suited to motorcycle enthusiasts of all ages, skill levels as well as bike manufacturers. The event, which is the second of an eight-round series hosted around the country, hopes to attract a similar field to that of the opening round at Redstar Raceway in Mpumalanga that drew more than 150 riders across the various classes. One of the competing classes is the 300cc group aimed at young riders with a basic skill level and a love for track days, PE Classic Bike Racing’s Lucille Elliot said. The 600cc and 1000cc classes will be open to all adrenaline junkies looking to test their limits on the tricky Scribante circuit. The Classics class, which will feature bikes manufactured between 1975 and 1989, will welcome restored gems for lovers of the older machines. The Battle of the Twins class will feature a host of Italian manufactured motorcycles and promises lots of horsepower. The series was first established by a group of BOTTS riders who go by the name of Rebel Racing. “They are all dedicated motorcycle enthusiasts who provide the opportunity for local motorcycle riders of all skill levels to come to the track and enjoy some racing,” Elliottt said. “They pride themselves on providing a safe environment where people from all walks of life can enjoy racing in harmony,” she added. Elliott encouraged track lovers from across the Bay to come out and support the event, be it in a racing or spectating capacity. Monster Energy® Kawasaki Rider Adam Cianciarulo Captures Second 450SX Podium of the Season

Foothill Ranch, Calif. (February 9, 2020) – Round 6 of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship presented perfect weather conditions in sunny San Diego, California where Monster Energy® Kawasaki rider Adam Cianciarulo captured his second 450SX podium of the season with a second-place finish with Monster Energy®/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider Austin Forkner also bringing home a second-place finish in the 250SX class. Cianciarulo kicked the day off by qualifying with the fastest lap time (49.024) for the sixth week in a row with his teammate Eli Tomac once more following closely in second. As the gate dropped on 450SX Heat 1, Tomac was banging bars at the start which would leave him buried in the pack. Making quick work in the short race, Tomac was able to pass six other contenders in the nine-lap race before crossing the finish line in third. 450SX Heat 2 saw the No. 9 of Cianciarulo grab the holeshot aboard his KX™450 and lead every lap to take the checkered flag. His second heat race of the season. Similarly to the heat race, Cianciarulo shot out front in the 450SX Main Event leading the 22-rider field. Cianciarulo led 20 of the 25 laps before getting passed, crossing the finish line in second. The runner-up result is the rookie’s second runner-up finish of the season and jumped him up to fifth in the 450SX Point Standings. On the other hand, Tomac found himself buried mid-pack in the main creating a daunting task on the tight track, where it was difficult to make a pass. Tomac went straight to work and began maneuvering his way around competitors one-by-one, but not without a few wild battles along the way. Before the end of the 20-minute main event, Tomac was able to push forward and cross the finish
