Bike Week 2023 rolled into Daytona Beach and the surrounds for the 82nd time.
Daytona and MotoAmerica have joined forces to host the Daytona 200 this year. Riders from all over the world participate in “America’s Most Historic Motorcycle Race” that moved from the beach/road course to Daytona International Speedway in 1961.

I quickly grabbed my habitual morning coffee at Burger King and hauled ass

The Buck Lovell “Snow Rider” photo has been broadcast on Facebook so many times I have lost count. After numerous requests, I am providing the story about how, when and why this photograph came into existence for all you soon to be famous photographers!
I usually stopped at the Burger King at exit 30 in Sturgis to grab a coffee. As I approached the Burger King location, I saw this motorcycle with owner/rider Pat Luisi of Blackhawk South Dakota, headed up Boulder Canyon towards Deadwood. This was the second or third time I had seen Pat on his way to work in Deadwood riding the recently introduced Crossbones model Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Art of Michael Richardson by Jeff “Prince” Najar
Our world as subscribed by Michael Richardson’s art is full of full of Southern-fried funk, eye popping graphics, face melting illustrations, metal-flake designs, screamin’ guitars, and fast vixens.
In three words, Richardson creates “soul-satisfying stories” through his artistic view. And he adds a twist to his designs. His work is peppered with Easter eggs.

“This event has a big turn out and has for as long as I can remember. I never miss it, and it appears many others feel the same way.
Wille from Tropical Tattoo, some sponsors and a lot of volunteers come together to present this great bike show twice a year.
While the motorcycles on display are all great, Roadside Marty the MC is always a hit with the mic.”

Come Ride With Us, Ride Free Forever !!!

by Bandit with photos by Weed
This bike was built in classic form by Steve Hannah a 20-year Paughco employee and lifetime biker. The Redhead and I hauled ass to Carson City, Nevada with the briefcase, purchased, loaded and blasted back to the Black Hills of South Dakota.
I usually mess with any purchase unless it’s a restored antique. But this puppy was well built, classic and had chopper class.

This is going to be good, like the party of parties. I’ll stay between the white lines as I attempt to cover the rally and my first wild experience after relocating to the Black Hills and available for action every day.
Constant hum of action prevailed daily, with the rumble of V-twins, non-stop shows, concerts, celebrations, parties and jamming bars are just the tip of the chromed mountain leading up to the rally. Last year, my shop wasn’t complete, and I was attacked by the deadly Covid virus. I found myself locked down in my basement dungeon.
Only semi-prepared this year, the rally kept coming like it or not.

Puppy’s Off the Leash Tour by Rogue and Friends
We decided that since we were in California we might as well visit some places before going home. Started by riding CA 1, or Pacific Coast Highway.
We got lucky, the motorcycle event Born Free was that weekend too. It would be a shame after riding all this way if we did not get by to attend such a famous event.

Part 1 of a Trampster Run to CA
by Rogue and Friends
I received a text message from brother Berry Wardlaw at Accurate Engineering. “Do you want to go on a Trampster Run?”
I replied “Yes” which got me another text.
“Don’t you want to know where?”
I replied, “NO, just want to know when we are leaving and are expecting to get back.”
Next message “I will let you know in a couple of days.”
A Trampster Ride will have a starting date and a tentative return date. It will also have a destination, but not the shortest route to it.

Editor’s Note by Bandit: “In a changing world, I ask myself constantly about the mindsets behind different chopper movements in the States and as you will see here in the Nordic Countries. I would love to listen to their conversations.”
