This year, Indian Motorcycle is a sponsor for the American Iron River Ride, a motorcycle group ride from Lacrosse, Wis., to St. Paul, Minn., that precedes the Patriot Ride to benefit Minnesota’s military members, veterans and their families. The American Iron Magazine River Ride, a free event organized by American Iron Magazineand open to all brands of motorcycle, takes place July 8. Victory Racing has charged forward in second practice for the SES TT Zero race with William Dunlop riding a 115.431mph lap. He was 2.6mph faster than in first practice and just 3.3mph behind John McGuinness who posted the fastest lap time of 19:04.307 (a 118.7mph lap) compared to William’s 19:36.707. The 2016 Isle of Man TT got off to a blistering start today, with two riders in the Superbike TT breaking the outright lap record on the very first lap, from a standing start no less. The 2016 Isle of Man TT is off to a spectacular start with Ian Hutchinson breaking the absolute lap record, running at an average 132.892 mph. The record would be short-lived, as Michael Dunlop managed a 133.369 mph lap performance on his Hawk Racing BMW S1000RR.
