It’s Nuts with News from all the Wheels ANOTHER CRAZY DAY IN PARADISE—Nothing makes any sense, but there you have it. It’s all going to be so interesting as the country comes to grips with what’s going on in the streets. Do you want law and order or pandemonium? I need to start working on new fender mounts for the Salt Torpedo. Oh, and I heard that the Sturgis Rally powers are meeting on the 15th to make the final decision on the rally. I road tested the funky Panhead last weekend, and I’m almost finished re-editing my first book for reprint. It’s coming out again soon. So, there you have it. Some ups and downs… I completely understand the need not to overwhelm our medical industry. And recently the Sturgis Rally discussion surfaced. One report worried that all the decision makers had solely financial cards in play and that the decision might be forced in one direction, to make money off the rally. I said the players run the gamut from Zero tolerance control freaks to freedom riders, party animals and the money makers. I hope they can find balance. But in the end motorcycling wins. As long as we are riding, we’re safe and free. Just ride through Sturgis and keep going. Ride into the hills of the Badlands. Ride through Yosemite and Zion. Ride through Flagstaff and Monument Valley. Just Ride! Think about it. Life can be fucked or fun, it’s up to each one of us. Find the path and follow it to Nirvana or another Redhead, both are heaven. Life is Amazing, but a lot of Events are Cancelled Hey, Is life wonderful or not. As we roll into May, more bored folks are coming up with wild conspiracy theories regarding the Covid attack, from political twists to Chinese takeovers. I’m too busy repairing the Salt Torpedo, working on the expanding headquarters in Deadwood, building Dr. Hamster’s Pandemic Panhead and hammering away on the second chapter of my third Chance Hogan book. A friend from Simon and Shusters recommended, years ago, that I write a series. I spoke to the recently passed, Clive Cussler, from Phoenix, who wrote one series after another. He agreed. Just be thankful for what you got–William De Vaughn  See, life is amazing from the plants blooming in the Bikernet patio, to the lines on Christian’s bike, to the scalloped paint job Deny 925 is creating, to another magnificent sunset over the harbor and the thoughts of building another shop in Deadwood surrounded by rolling pine covered hills. We will deal with this punk virus and keep riding towards the light. Odd Bikernet Weekly News for April 16th, 2020

This Is Supposed to Be Our Kick-Off to Our Roaring ’20s Hey, It’s been an odd week. Remember, this is supposed to be the kick-off to our Roaring ‘20s and now we’re locked down. Plus, the Governor of California said recently about opening that everything will change in the future. No more major sporting events, etc. What about dances and parties, will we all wear masks? Tough to smoke a joint or take a shot of Jack with a mask on? WTF, over. Here’s another odd one. This Pandemic bows well for individual transportation, like cars and motorcycles. All those folks who want us out of our cars and stuffed into electric subways or busses are going to need to rethink their plans. Let’s hit the news and see what else floats to the surface. Covid Alerts Bikernet Weekly News for March 19th, 2020

Hey, Are we living through some strange times or what? This is one of those tests and we won’t know the answers until it’s over. It’s sorta like a final at the Bikernet medical school. You could check Covid Measures too reactionary and costly and be wrong or visa versa. Let’s just hope at the end of the flu season, we can laugh and say it wasn’t a big deal. Bikernet isn’t shutting down or curbing operations. I’m working around the clock with a couple of contractors in Deadwood to dial in the Badlands Bikernet headquarters for the rally. Sin Wu and the Redhead are approving the Chinese whorehouse décor. Dr. Hamster and Mike Stevenson delivered the Doctor’s Panhead project back to the headquarters, and I will start the finishing touches on it tomorrow to get the sheet metal to Deny for paint and prep this bike for the trip to Deadwood and the rally. Let’s get to the news and at the end I’ll attempt to explain the other items on the Bikernet To-Do list for this year. Hang On!
