An autocycle from Yamaha?

Yamaha already has the unique Niken which has two front wheels and one rear tyre — the front wheels moving together using the handlebar. Now, it seems they wish to venture into a proper “autocycle” territory. People were fascinated by Polaris Slingshot– and maybe Yamaha believes they can do it better. The Yamaha Tricera concept vehicle has been revealed. It features an open air design and three-wheels positioned very much like Slingshot. With the ambition of providing an improved and futuristic riding experience for its worldwide customers, Yamaha may soon reveal this Tricera concept ahead of an official launch. I guess its their way of saying it is safer than speeding down the streets on a typical Yamaha R1?! This concept version has been mentioned by the company, providing some insights and some of the key, important features of the vehicle. It is reported that Tricera will make a special appearance at the upcoming Mobility Show, which will take place in Japan in November. From Yamaha: Feeling the unification of mind, body, and machine This three-wheel open-top electric autocycle pursues the unfiltered joy derived from operating a highly responsive vehicle. Its development concept is “Exciting Urban Mobility: When one’s body and mind and the machine become an organic whole.” This vehicle for personal mobility not only delivers the unparalleled feeling of freedom of an open-top car but also a new Kando*-filled driving experience with its three-wheel steering. The TRICERA’s human-centric packaging was derived from the level of controllability felt when changing the center point of the vehicle’s turning circle via the in-phase and counter-phase of the rear wheel. Additionally, enabling the user to select a manual mode for rear-wheel steering allows for the sense of accomplishment that comes when acquiring and developing new driving skills. Modern mobility is shifting toward

Supercross vs Motocross: The Difference

The world of dirt bike riding is full of thrills and adventures. This thrill and excitement are often shared among dirt bike enthusiasts through various tournaments and events. Supercross and Motocross are two such events that keep dirt bike fans on the edge of their seat. The fans of this adventure sport are very passionate about each of them. But are they both similar or two completely different race events? Let’s find out! Supercross The simplest definition of supercross is a race involving dirt bikes that takes place in a stadium on tracks with different obstacles. A rider needs to navigate through the tracks with much smoothness and speed. The fastest one wins the race, leaving others behind on the track. Motocross Motocross shares a lot of similarities with supercross, with some differences. It takes place in natural or simulated terrain. Due to its outdoorsy nature, the tracks are very different. They are much longer and wider. The ramps are higher with farther jumps. Also, the winner requires different strategies, requiring more physical endurance to succeed. To be safe, men and womens motocross gear are crucial elements that should be taken into consideration. The first motocross was held in 1901 in London, UK. Since then, it has found its way to Australia and has become a popular sport here. It is commonly referred to as MX. The Difference Between Motocross & Supercross MX and SX can be differentiated in many different aspects. From the venue to how a winner is chosen, both have their rules, factors, and elements. Here is the complete difference between motocross and supercross. Venue The venue of both motocross and supercross is one of the key differences between them. Two UK Bank holidays should help IOMTT attendees enjoy more racing. by Dustin Wheelen from https://www.rideapart.com The Isle of Man TT (IOMTT) returned to the Snaefell Mountain Course in 2022 after a two-year hiatus. As expected, drama unfolded over the two-week period, but officials are always searching for ways to make the Tourist Trophy even better. With the aim of enhancing the event’s long-term sustainability by increasing overall visitor numbers, the new 10-race schedule addresses issues identified by IOMTT organizers. “This research revealed that the existing TT schedule, the Island’s travel capacity, the Island’s accommodation infrastructure, costs factored against the current economic climate, and customers’ changing habits are no longer compatible and do not meet the needs of the event’s customers,” stated MHK Minister for Enterprise Lawrie Hooper. To optimize the TT’s crowd-welcoming ability, organizers scheduled the opening-day qualifying on May 29, 2023, the U.K.’s Spring Bank Holiday. Authorities also deemed Friday, June 9, 2022, the “TT Bank Holiday”, bookending the racing event with two three-day weekends. From the streets – 2022 Sturgis Rally Report

by Bandit with photos from the Redhead and Wrench This is going to be good, like the party of parties. I’ll stay between the white lines as I attempt to cover the rally and my first wild experience after relocating to the Black Hills and available for action every day. Constant hum of action prevailed daily, with the rumble of V-twins, non-stop shows, concerts, celebrations, parties and jamming bars are just the tip of the chromed mountain leading up to the rally. Last year, my shop wasn’t complete, and I was attacked by the deadly Covid virus. I found myself locked down in my basement dungeon. Only semi-prepared this year, the rally kept coming like it or not.
