This year, David Uhl’s daughter Isabella has joined us in the gallery here. As you may know, Bella has begun making a name for herself as a portrait pencil sketch artist. As she follows in father David’s footsteps, she has now completed her first-ever watercolor, titled “Original Iron”. This was a commission from one of David’s collectors and Bella is now offering prints on watercolor paper in a 24-hour Flash Sale! Last year, we released the first in David’s new series, titled “Female Figure on Motorcycle 1”. We are pleased to announce the release of the second piece in the series, appropriately titled “Female Figure on Motorcycle 2”. He still has some finishing touches left on this one, featuring the lovely Stephanie Pietz. One of his finishing touches was to remove the tattoo. He felt it wasn’t necessary given the contrast between her flesh tones and the dynamic background. He also changed the top color and her shoes. He completed two watercolor paintings of Billy, one of which is him racing (Sons of Speed in Florida). David is now offering prints of both images via a 24-hour Flash Sale. Signed, numbered prints are now available on watercolor paper at incredible prices. But, they will only be available for 24 hours. Next week, we’ll head to Las Vegas to prepare for the aviation show which starts on October 22….more on that one later. Passing of Jessi Combs

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Jessi Combs. An industry icon, Jessi was an amazing soul. If you want to learn more about Jessi and her life, simply search her name on the Internet. And prepare to be amazed! I’ve told this story countless times over the years – during the photo shoot for David’s piece featuring her, she was by far the toughest person there. It was late December here in the Denver area and it was COLD. She never complained once…while the rest of us big tough guys were doing anything we could to stay warm. Her smile and laughter brightened our days when she visited us in Daytona and Sturgis the past few years. Jessi, you will be missed…gone too soon. — Artist David Uhl
