Veterans Day Bikernet Weekly News for November 11th, 2021

It’s Crazy It’s Wonderful The world is nuts. Did you see that Germany won’t sign the declaration to eliminate internal combustion vehicles? Yet, none of our internal combustion organizations or publications in the United States, like the AMA, Rider Magazine, SEMA, MRF, Dice Magazine, NCOM, Easyriders, NHRA, Auto Club, MIC or the NMA will even question the elimination. If they don’t motorcycles will be toast in a decade. I don’t think our Veterans fought for this. They fought for open debate. They fought for men and women to be able to stand up and question the government. Ride Fast and Free Forever and never give up. I’ll leave it at that. One Too-Many Aces in the Badlands

The Brothers and Girls Ride Out for a High-Stakes Poker Game By Gearhead with help from Bandit The story starts with Bandit telling me about a big card game in the Badlands of South Dakota. We were drinking one night down the street from the Cantina getting about half lit. He drank Jack on the rocks, and I was drinking Beam. The only thing left was to break open a bottle of Old Grand Dad and we would have a song. He mentioned making a run to Deadwood for this big poker tournament. It was by invite only and he had one. I asked him about the tournament, while the music on the jukebox in the background was, “I drink alone,” by Lonesome George. He told me you need references and a wad of cash that could choke an elephant –a big fuckin’ bank roll. Two things my Uncle Geno told me was: family first and never cross a 1%er. I would back Bandit. Bandit’s Cantina: Episode 95

Change is in the Wind By K. Randall Ball Bandit couldn’t wait to peel back to the Cantina. He had a ton on his mind, but the ride felt good. The bike and his mental load lifted without the yipping Melody around, but there was way more. The highway up the Grape Vine blistered with heat but contained mild traffic. He leaned through the curves as if he floated on air unincumbered by the world around him. Click Here to Read the New Adventure in the Bandit’s Cantina Biker Fiction Series. Merry Fiction: Hogging Santa

Hogging Santa We Wish You a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Santa Claus finds joy and contentment in modern society with a Harley, Faith, Hope and Charity. All right! Something to do this weekend and it involves riding my hog to L.A., I could guarantee the tug-o-war victory – just wrap the rope around me – they would need a cavalry to drag me. I stuffed a backpack with essentials and went to my garage to dust off my 20 year-old H-D. Checking everything on the two-wheels I locked up the house and kicked the beast. Difficult even to lift my leg to kick-start with my belly bothering us – he has to push himself into everything. I parked on the side-stand and stood to my 6’2” height. I held the throttle with two fingers and kicked, the hog roared to life. Sitting on it now I paced onto the street to its beat – good vibrations – ’70s charm seemed to be feeding itself into me. Bikernet Fiction — Lothario’s Grand Thrill

Lothario Fade introduced the girl to the ride confident she’d be amused and beguiled with his sanguine sway. As they dallied in line the dazzle of lights and whir of contraptions awakened his joy and roused reckless pulse within, he leaned close to her, inhaling the intoxicating aroma of her perfume, a whiff of lavender and hint of medicinal potent spirits. He slipped his dark hand around her naked waist, his thick fingers dawdling on the band of her polka dot pedal pushers while he eyed the contours of her tank top and pressed his lips to her ear, whispering.
