Yes, I know this is old news, but since Steve, Bob and the BDL team bought Bill Gardner's GMA brake company it tossed BDL into the Brake manufacturing arena. They have improved on GMA brakes, made them easier to mount and bleed. They are now working on systems which will double the braking capacity to most Evo Softails.    Here's the first in a series of articles we are developing with BDL and GMA. Electric Motorcycle Hits 170 mph

  Daytona International Speedway this weekend was host to the thundering sound of quiet electric motorcycle racing action with the 2012 TTXGP World Championship race. In an exciting race on Sunday morning, Steve Atlas took home the World Championship title for Brammo, winning it from two-time Champion Matthias Himmelmann of Muench Racing who came in 2nd.   The weekend saw an amazing performance by both Brammo riders who, during practice sessions, were hitting speeds in the high 160's (miles/hr) and Eric Bostrom was recorded at 170.1 miles/hr. Third-Quarter Report and Nine-Month Results For Harley-Davidson

Third-Quarter profits fall 27 percent Harley-Davidson, Inc. (HOG) reported earnings per share of $0.59 for the third quarter of 2012, in line with Company expectations. Earnings were lower than the year-ago period due to a previously announced plan for lower third-quarter motorcycle shipments during the launch of an ERP production system at the Company's largest assembly plant. For the full year 2012, Harley-Davidson continues to forecast a five-to seven-percent increase in motorcycle shipments compared to 2011. Third-quarter income from continuing operations was $134.0 million on consolidated revenue of $1.25 billion, compared to income from continuing operations of $183.6 million, or $0.78 per share, on consolidated revenue of $1.40 billion in the year-ago quarter.
