J&P Cycles Transforms a Reporter Into a Biker

In the midst of the excitement surrounding the Daytona Beach Biketoberfest set up, an associate at J&P Cycles’ Iowa headquarters received a phone call from an editor at the Daytona Beach News Journal. The newspaper wanted to send a straight-laced reporter into the store to be outfitted as a biker and do so the following day. Always up for any challenge, J&P Cycles reached out to staff in Florida who jumped at the opportunity. Andrew (the reporter) came into the store as a typical reporter and came out of the dressing room very different. See how it went or read the article here.

Vented Windscreen Reduces Buffeting

The new Wind Splitter Vented Windshield ($424.95) from Harley-Davidson® Genuine Motor Accessories® was developed by Harley-Davidson and tested in the Wichita State University wind tunnel to relieve low pressure behind the windshield and significantly reduce buffeting at the rider position. A fingertip-adjustable center vent matches air flow to the rider’s height and also provides cooling air to the rider at low speeds. The Wind Splitter Vented Windshield is engineered to provide the comfort of a larger windshield, but its shape keeps bugs and road grime below the rider’s sight line. The shield is formed of hard-coated polycarbonate for strength and scratch resistance, and the dark-smoked finish reduces glare. The polished stainless steel brackets mount to the Original Equipment docking points ...
