Bikernet Exclusive: Valerie Thompson To Ride Streamliner For Denis Manning

Bikernet found out this morning that Bonneville 200 MPH Club memberĀ Valerie Thompson is to ride a land speed racing streamlinerĀ for owner Denis Manning this season.Ā Denis Manning who'sĀ aimingĀ at a 400 mph record said, "She will need to learn how to ride our rocket'. There's no doubt that Manning'sĀ purpose-built streamliner two-wheeler is no ordinary motorcycle, but Valerie is no stranger herself to wild machinery. Valerie is a multiple land speed record holder and has also competed in NHRA Pro Stock motorcycle racing. More details are to come soon and we will be sure to keep you up to date. The ARCH KRGT-1 Gets EPA/CARB Approval

Arch Motorcycle, the "ultra-premium" American V-twin manufacturer co-founded by Gard Hollinger of LA County ChopRods fame with Hollywood actor Keanu Reeves, has had its first production model certified as emissions compliant by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and California Air Resources Board (CARB) in the United States. Run Self-Canceling Turn Signals On Your Bike

The new Smart Turn System (STS) is a universal turn signal cancelation system for nearly all types of motorcycles. The system analyzes over 300 data elements per second to automatically cancel turn signals once a rider has made a turn or lane change. Swiss endurance rider Urs ā€œGrizzlyā€ Pedraita is 25 riding days and 16,932 miles into his quest to set a new world record by circumnavigating six continents in less than 100 riding days aboard his Victory Cross Country Tour. Grizzly rode away from Daytona International Speedway on March 11 flanked by hundreds of owners of Victory motorcycles who joined him to ride one lap of the Daytona 200 road course and escort him out of town for the first part of his journey.
