A retrospective exhibit celebrating motorcycle builder Paul Yaffe’s career will be on display at the Legends Pavilion for the duration of Arizona Bike Week 2017. Yaffe Through the Years, presented by Chuck Franklin Law, will showcase some of the most spectacular bikes and parts that Paul has created during 25 years in the bike building and custom parts business. A collection of some of Paul’s most memorable custom creations will be on display. Although not an official Porsche concept, Bahri's two-wheeled experiment was indeed inspired the Porsche 911 Turbo. Bahri's bike features a single-shock rear suspension, and a front swingarm with an in-hub steering system that's reminiscent of the iconic Bimota Tesi. “This is my vision of a Porsche electric motorcycle, I made this project for the subject Two Wheels Project,” says Bahri. Years ago... Early summer was upon us and perfect weather oversaw this journey as the two heavily loaded motorcycles picked their way slowly through the strikingly green forests of one small Virginia highway. Behind my aging Electra Glide Michelle followed on her old Honda Shadow. Five years earlier, having never ridden a motorcycle before, Michelle had paid $700 for that bike, practiced on it for a week, loaded her worldly possessions aboard, then hit the road. She's been a technically homeless motorcycle vagabond ever since and is the only full time female drifter I know.
