Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, ZZ Top, are coming to the Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s Wolfman Jack Stage on Wednesday, Aug. 6 “ZZ Top’s songs are some of the most recognizable on the planet,” says Sturgis Buffalo Chip President, Rod Woodruff. “We are thrilled they asked us if they could perform at the Chip this year. Benefit to Fight Cancer – 2014 LA Calendar Motorcycle Show Moves To Malibu

The 23rd annual LA Calendar Motorcycle Show sponsored by Russ Brown Attorneys is pleased to announce that the American Cancer Society will be the 2014 Show’s designated charity recipient.This month the Society announced its first set of new 2014 grantees, awarding a total of $42,899,000 to 103 scientists and health professionals, both to find a cures for the many types of cancers, and to support and care for the facilities that treat and care for cancer patients. “Everyone knows of friends and loved family members, or possibly themselves who have been impacted by cancer”, explained Jim Gianatsis, producer of the LA Calendar Motorcycle Show and the Show’s themed FastDates.com Motorcycle PinUp Calendars. “I, myself, was cured of cancer 4 years ago, thanks to diagnostics, cures and surgeries, discovered by researchers funded by important charity organizations like the American Cancer Society.   This 1922 Ace Inline Four is owned by local Sturgis collector Junior Glover. By Christine Paige-Diers (Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame). William G. Henderson is widely recognized as a truly innovative designer of early motorcycles and is especially well-known for his design of four-cylinder engines. He was the original owner of the Henderson Motorcycle company – which was founded in 1911. Challenge your skill set and experience and apply at the world renowned motorcycle seat and accessory manufacturer, Corbin in Hollister, CA. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITY/DUTIES: -Program, setup and operate 3 and 5-axis CNC machinery and works with engineering to develop complete machining processes to produce complex parts. -Program, setup and operate CNC turning center with live tooling. -Develops tooling and fixturing needed to produce complex parts. -Ability to switch from prototype to production work throughout the shift. -Reverse engineer existing parts to be modified or new parts hand created in R&D for machining on the 3 and 5 axis machinery, or to make drawings in Auto CAD. -Works with drawings and rough sketches to program parts with minimum supervision. -Produces Prints to assist purchasing department and machine shop for parts to be ordered or machined. -Works with the air pollution control district to verify correct daily and yearly v.o.c limits and overages and complete daily logs using Excel. -Maintaining tool crib inventory and allocate various tools to entire plant. -Troubleshooting and maintenance on various equipment throughout the plant which includes replacement part lookup/research and preventative maintenance.
