You don’t have to be a motorcycle enthusiast to visit here, but it helps from https://soranews24.com There are tens of thousands of Shinto shrines all over Japan and they come in all kinds of shapes and sizes. They also have a plethora of individual themes that visitors may want to visit for highly specific prayers such as scoring primo idol tickets or breaking up with a significant other. For example, did you know that there are 17 motorcycles shrines that have been sanctioned by the Japan Motorcycle Association? Our reporter Mr. Sato sure didn’t and decided to check one out when he learned of them…which is strange because he’s never ridden a motorcycle in his life. In fact, Mr. Sato is what’s known as a “paper driver” in Japan, which refers to a person who though licensed almost never gets behind a wheel. The irony in this is that even though paper drivers have almost no experience or confidence driving, they end up with pristine records and gold-class licenses identifying them as model drivers. And so, Mr. Sato got his motor running aboard a train and then headed out on the highway via a bus and finally went looking for adventure in whatever came his way on foot. And what came his way was the entrance to the Kashiwa no Mori Motorcycle Shrine, which was established on the property of BDS Co. Ltd., a company specializing in motorcycle auctions in Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture. Upon entering the shrine precincts Mr. Sato saw four torii gates lined up in a row, dividing the shrine into four separate mini shrines. Sloan, who spent a decade working on Wall Street, has changed her life more than once to get as much fulfillment out of her circumstances as possible. She wants her clients to plan for the future, but also not miss the joy of the present. “Sometimes we get sparks in our lives,” Sloan said in a recent interview. “I was talking to a friend on day who said she had wanted to try hot yoga for six years but had not done it. That made me look at my life to see what I wanted to do that I hadn’t done, and it was learn to ride a motorcycle.” That initial inspiration led Sloan to ride across the United States, from her home in Glens Falls, N.Y., twice, once to the West Coast and once to the Midwest. “I always wanted a BMW and within a few days of making that decision, I was at the dealer and bought a motorcycle,” Sloan remembers. “I had them deliver the motorcycle to my house because I did not feel comfortable taking it for a test drive. I learned to ride and a whole new world of people and places opened up to me.” She joined the BMW Riders Association and learned the group was holding a rally in Portland, Ore. “I thought that would be perfect. The Ténéré 700 could be the most important new adventure bike of 2019. It isn’t as advanced, powerful, sexy or sophisticated as the many Japanese super bikes, but it is capable more accessible to the masses. It is desirable and affordable. Yamaha Ténéré 700 has a launch date for the online ordering system. The first bikes will be delivered to customers in Europe on July 2019 at a special introductory price of €9,299 / £8399 – the normal price will be £8699. The online only price will be available between March 27 and July 31, when the ordering system closes. No information about an early ordering system has been given for the U.S.A. at this time. Due to differing government regulatory standards and factory production line schedules, the Tenere 700 is scheduled to arrive at U.S. dealerships a year later in the second half of 2020. Europe receives three color options, so far, but Ceramic Ice will be the only color available for the U.S.A. market. The T7 concept bikes and two years of Ténéré 700 waiting might suggested it started as an MT-07 ‘soft-roader’. The power in the package comes from the MT-07’s CP2 689cc parallel-twin, wrapped in an all-new chassis, and rolling on proper off-road rim sizes (21-in. front, 18-in. rear). The engine guarantees off-road success with dedicated fuel maps for its new dual-purpose life which means a broad spread of torque, and plenty of power for the road. There’s also gearbox tweaks to suit the new purpose. Yamaha claims that the combination of good fuel economy and a 16-litre tank capacity will give a real-world 215-mile+ range between fuel stops.
