Suzuki To Premiere Its First Hydrogen Test Bike

Suzuki To Premiere Its First Hydrogen Test Bike At 2023 Japan Mobility Show The Suzuki Hydrogen Burgman is among several world premiere vehicles from the house of Hamamatsu. Suzuki has preferred the 2023 Japan Mobility Show as the event to unveil its first-ever hydrogen-powered two-wheeler for the world. The company has mentioned it a test vehicle, so it is not a concept. Suzuki is currently researching hydrogen engine development and has yet to put it into consumer focused production. The exhibit will include a test vehicle using a Burgman 400 ABS outfitted with a 70 megapascal (MPa) hydrogen tank and a corresponding engine. Suzuki will also host panels and show videos to illustrate its progress in hydrogen engine development. The 2023 Japan Mobility Show is scheduled to take place between October 28 and November 5, 2023 in Tokyo. * * * * * * * * * * * * Stay updated, stay ahead of the curve. Mystery of the Effective Detective

Doggone life of the furry government servant with inputs from Hot Air Cold Love at https://hotaircoldlove.substack.com/ Apparently, dogs are not detectives. This thought crime just got solved. So, are all the decades of man’s best friend working alongside in forests and mountains, in rain and sunshine, in war-zones and disaster rescue efforts, the hound that will follow “his master’s voice” to hell– all just myth, legend and an old husband’s tale? As per the research and the statistics, the dog’s days of working as a police dog are over. Maybe now — the customs officer will have to smell your luggage and bark orders if deemed unfit for boarding your flight. Maybe its the humans who are causing the loss of canine jobs (which is my gist of the new report mentioned below)?? Can you imagine all the working animals replaced with humans instead of machines? No more canary in a coal mine. No more snakes eating rats in paddy fields. No more ox ploughing farms, no more donkeys or mules carrying fool’s gold (also called simply as a fool), no more horse carriages nor armed cavalry, no legionnaire crossing deserts on a camel…. So what would you write? A western or a historical fiction or a scifi or a satire or just adopt a rescue dog to play with during writer’s block? Well, he could take you out for a walk and we know that’s always good for creativity (New Yorker story link). Anyways, chew on this news for now! Police Say Dogs Help Solve Crimes. Little Evidence Supports That. In 2020, Salt Lake City abruptly terminated its canine unit for pursuing and apprehending suspects. Not much changed. https://undark.org/2023/07/24/police-say-dogs-help-solve-crimes-little-evidence-supports-that/ * * * * * * * * * * * * Send us your 100 word fiction and win

Thorough analysis by Clintel shows serious errors in latest IPCC report

Amsterdam, 9 May 2023 * IPCC hides good news about disaster losses and climate-related deaths * IPCC wrongly claimed the estimate of climate sensitivity is above 2.5°C; it is more likely below 2°C * IPCC misleads policy makers by focusing on an implausible worst-case emissions scenario * Errors in the AR6 report are worse than those that led to the IAC Review in 2010 The IPCC ignored crucial peer-reviewed literature showing that normalised disaster losses have decreased since 1990 and that human mortality due to extreme weather has decreased by more than 95% since 1920. The IPCC, by cherry picking from the literature, drew the opposite conclusions, claiming increases in damage and mortality due to anthropogenic climate change. These are two important conclusions of the report The Frozen Climate Views of the IPCC, published by the Clintel Foundation. The 180-page report is – as far as we know – the first serious international ‘assessment’ of the IPCC’s Sixth Assessment Report. In 13 chapters the Clintel report shows the IPCC rewrote climate history, emphasizes an implausible worst-case scenario, has a huge bias in favour of ‘bad news’ and against ‘good news’, and keeps the good news out of the Summary for Policy Makers. The errors and biases that Clintel documents in the report are far worse than those that led to the investigation of the IPCC by the Interacademy Council (IAC Review) in 2010. Clintel believes that the IPCC should reform or be dismantled. With the recently published Synthesis Report, the IPCC finished its sixth assessment cycle, consisting of seven reports in total. An international team of scientists from the Clintel network has analysed several claims from the Working Group 1 (The Physical Science Basis) and Working Group 2 (Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability) reports. This has now led to the report

Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, And Yamaha Join Forces On Hydrogen Bikes

with inputs by Janaki Jitchotvisut from www.MSN.com Japan’s Big Four motorcycle manufacturers will conduct research and development together. May 17, 2023, Japan’s Big Four motorcycle manufacturers announced their brave new plan to co-operate on development of hydrogen-powered motorcycle engines. Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha executives gathered together at a Tokyo press conference with the surprise announcement of formation of HySE — which stands for “Hydrogen Small Mobility and Engine Technology.” Additionally, apart from these four biggest Japanese moto manufacturers, Kawasaki Heavy Industries Limited and Toyota Motor Corporation will also join HySE as special members. Having the latter two companies on board is significant as they have independently advanced their own hydrogen-powered research in their respective fields. While HySE will focus on motorcycle engines, they plan to develop other hydrogen-powered engines for small mobility needs, as well. The unrivalled HySE organization jointly announced a plan to pursue research and development in three main areas, with responsibilities for each divided among the four OEMs as follows: Research on hydrogen-powered engines (Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, and Kawasaki Motors) Study on hydrogen refuelling system (Yamaha) Study on fuel supply system (Kawasaki Motors) * * * * * * * * * * * * GET ON TOP….with Bikernet.com’s Free Weekly Newsletter. Myth, Mystery & Weirdness of the legend of Ganja

The mysterious weirdness about the legend of the ganja by Amy Irene White with images from the Bob T. collection 10/29/2021 One of the most exasperatingly ridiculous brick walls in Washington DC is, the age-old conundrum of legalizing marijuana. Throughout the years, marijuana has gone through many transformations in the public eye. House Veterans Affairs Committee (HVAC) were scheduled to conduct a legislative hearing on Wednesday, October 13th, which included consideration of the bipartisan VA Cannabis Research Act of 2021, HR 2916. So far, there have been no updates, when I wrote this. The legislation “would direct the VA to conduct clinical research with varying forms of medicinal cannabis to evaluate the safety and effects of cannabis on health outcomes of veterans with PTSD and veterans with chronic pain.” CLICK HERE for a Feature Report on the State of the Myth, Mystery & Legend of Ganja Join the Cantina for more – Subscribe Today. https://www.bikernet.com/pages/custom/subscription.aspx

Queensland wraps up connected vehicle road safety pilot

by Aimee Chanthadavong from https://www.zdnet.com The Queensland government said during the nine-month pilot drivers were alerted about on-road hazards, including red lights, pedestrians, and cyclists. A pilot involved with testing technology that alerted drivers about upcoming on-road hazards, including red lights, pedestrians, and bike riders in Queensland’s Ipswich has now wrapped up after nine months. As part of the Ipswich Connected Vehicle Pilot (ICVP), 350 participants had their cars retrofitted with cooperative intelligent transport systems (C-ITS) technology, including an antenna mounted on a roof-rack, in-vehicle communications box placed under the driver’s seat, and a display on the dashboard that signalled safety warnings to the driver. The equipment enabled each vehicle’s position, speed, and other data, to be shared, while it also received data from traffic signals and traffic management systems related to traffic lights, speed limits, road works, and road hazards. The pilot covered 300 square kilometres within the Ipswich local government area, and included 30 traffic signals fitted with roadside communication devices. These devices, plus those that were installed in participant vehicles, had access to cloud-based data sharing systems throughout the pilot area. The ICVP was delivered by Queensland’s Department of Transport and Main Roads, in partnership with Motor Accident Insurance Commission of Queensland, Telstra, Queensland University of Technology’s Centre for Accident Research and Road Safety Queensland, iMOVE Australia, Ipswich City Council, and the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Cities and Regional Development. “The connected technology tested allows vehicles to talk with other vehicles, roadside infrastructure, and transport management systems,” Member for Ipswich Jennifer Howard said. “Messages received are combined with the vehicle’s data and used to generate driver warnings such as red lights, road works, road hazards, congestion, and pedestrians.” The pilot was launched under the Queensland government’s broader Cooperative and Automated Vehicle Initiative (CAVI) that aims to reduce

Hero Ultra Sport electric motorcycle under development in Germany

by Nithyanandh Karuppaswamy from https://www.rushlane.com The Hero e-US is expected to be unveiled at one of the high-profile events in foreseeable future Hero Electric and Hero MotoCorp are two different companies. Both are into manufacturing and selling of two wheelers in India. The former has only focused in electric vehicles, while the latter, which is India’s largest two wheeler brand, is yet to launch an electric vehicle. With electric vehicles the future, Hero Motocorp’s Technology Center in Germany (HTCG) is currently collaborating with the two wheeler giant’s Jaipur R&D HQ to develop a new premium electric motorcycle concept in addition to working on mainstream, cost-effective EV solutions. Hero e-US or Hero Ultra Sport Eectric According to a recent report by Moneycontrol, the powerful electric motorcycle concept which is currently under development by Munich-based HTCG is called the e-US (electric Ultra Sport). No additional information is available at this point but it is likely to be a design study to gather public opinion about a potential electric high-performance flagship. If we were to hazard a guess, the Hero e-US could be an edgy street fighter with performance levels equivalent to a conventional quarter liter motorcycle. Or it could even be offering higher levels of performance to match something like the Ultroviolette F77. The concept is expected to be showcased at a high-profile event when it is ready. The timeline is not clear as of now. Branding challenge for electric portfolio Speaking at the latest Annual General Meeting, Hero Motocorp’s chairman Pawan Munjal stated that the company is well on course with its plans to enter the promising electric two wheeler market in the country. He also added that the pure electric products that are being developed by Hero Motocorp are independent of its subsidiary Ather Energy’s products. It is to be
