Three-year-old girl rides her own mini-motorcycle – with training wheels – as she zooms along a trail with her father

by Raven Saunt from https://www.dailymail.co.uk/ The footage was recorded on a helmet-cam by Bob Trabuco in Phelan, California The 39-year-old drives down a sandy track with his daughter, Presley, up ahead Social media users were quick to say that she was too young to be on the track A three-year-old girl was caught on camera riding her own mini-motorcycle as she zoomed along a trail with her father. The footage was recorded on a helmet-cam by Bob Trabuco in Phelan, California. In the video, the 39-year-old can be seen driving down the sandy track on a blue motorbike with expanses of open space up ahead. His three-year-old daughter Presley, who is wearing a grey t-shirt and pink helmet, has come to a stop on the left-hand side of the screen. She is straddling her own mini-motorbike with her stabilizers keeping her steady on the ground. Bob looks toward his daughter and says: ‘This might be the most fun day ever riding motorcycles Presley, do you know that?’ The little girl, who is equipped with her own helmet-cam, turns around to look at him before saying that she is ‘too stuck’. Bob gives her a helping hand and urges the bike forward with his foot before the pair begin to accelerate around the course. The pair continue to navigate across the rocky terrain before hesitating outside a tunnel as Presley says: ‘Every time I go through a tunnel its too noisy.’ But her father continues to encourage her to complete the course and the video ends shortly after. The footage was recorded last month during Presley’s first real outing on a motorcycle. Marketing manager Bob uploaded the clip to his YouTube Channel, Suburban Delinquent, but was quickly met with criticism by users who said that Presley was too young to be […]

Pink and Carey Hart went on motorcycle ride for 14th anniversary

from http://www.contactmusic.net/ Pink and Carey Hart celebrated 14 years of marriage with a motorcycle ride in Ojai, California. Pink and Carey Hart marked their 14th anniversary with a motorcycle ride. The loved up couple – who married on January 7, 2006 – wanted a low-key celebration to mark the occasion, and they decided to hit the road in California earlier this month to enjoy a trip together. She told ‘Entertainment Tonight’: We went on a motorcycle ride. We went to Ojai and stayed in an Airstream and it was really fun.” The pair – who share daughter Willow, eight, and son Jameson, three, together – are grateful for each other and the family they’re raising. Pink added: ”I mean, it’s fun to have a family and to be able to say, ‘Do you remember?’ or I’ll say something like, ‘I can’t believe my dad said that.’ ”And Carey will be like, ‘He said that 10 years ago.’ And I’m like, ‘He did?’ So, it’s good that he reminds me of what happens in my life.” The two lovebirds both shared romantic posts on Instagram last week to mark their anniversary, with Pink admitting their relationship ”isn’t perfect” but still showering her man with praise. She wrote: ”We’ve been at this thing a long time, babe. It isn’t perfect, but I’m grateful it’s ours. ”I love our family. Thank you for walking in front of me, beside me, and right behind me at times.” And Carey described his wife as his ”best friend”, while admitting she doesn’t like it when he says that. He said: ”14 years married to this amazing woman. I’m so proud of the life that we have built together. ”Both of us came from broken homes, yet we made the choice to work hard at our relationship.

Motorcycle ride raises money for St. Jude

September 13, 2019 by Clint Eiland at https://www.wbbjtv.com DYERSBURG, Tenn. — More than 200 motorcycles, nearly $1 million and 450 miles. Those are just some of the numbers involved in St. Jude Rides. “Almost 400 people total, and to see it all come together, and to be here in Dyersburg, it is just overwhelmingly emotional,” Jill Libert, development specialist at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, said. “One of the most well organized events that I’ve ever been a part of,” Stann Wiebler, marketing manager at Walter Brothers Harley Davidson, said. “They do so much planning. The police do a phenomenal job of getting us here safely.” The trip started Thursday in Peoria, Illinois, where riders began a six-hour drive to Dyersburg. The motorcade arrived in Memphis on Friday, where they delivered a check worth around $1 million to St. Jude. Wiebler’s father helped start the event 13 years ago, and Stann has done it the last six years. He says this event is one of his favorites. “It’s a huge event in our family. It’s part of our business anymore. No decision goes in to our business these days without thinking about St. Jude and how it would affect it,” Wiebler said. “It’s a very passionate group. They fund raise all year long with asking family and friends. They really are outstanding and selfless,” Libert said. Each rider raised at least $1,000, with one couple even raising $40,000. “Kids are precious. Thank you to all the people who are here to do this,” Kevin and Debbie Onnela said. As they rode into the hospital parking lot, the patients and employees were there to welcome them. “Patients, doctors, they all come out into the streets, and they have signs and balloons, screaming and yelling, a lot of tears flowing on these

Dying Man’s Final Request Fulfilled By 200 Roaring V-Twins

200 strangers give dying man a rousing sendoff. To many who ride, motorcycles are far more than a means of transportation. Bikes are a culture, an identity, and a way of life. Even after health issues or old age force some riders to call it quits, that passion never diminishes. Recently, as one terminally ill life-long biker prepared to say goodbye to this world, he decided his final wish was to hear the roar of an American V-Twin one last time. 61-year-old Indiana resident and cruiser enthusiast Jon Stanley—who’d previously been diagnosed with brain and lung cancer—was on his last leg, and his family sadly knew it. Stanley had recently bought himself a Harley Softail, though after taking it out on only a handful of occasions, the progression of his illness forced him to park it for good. Even though he could no longer ride, Stanley nonetheless relayed to his family that he just wanted to hear a motorcycle through his window. Stanley’s brother-in-law reached out to a local South Bend rider named David Thompson, via Facebook, explaining Stanley’s situation and request. Not only did Thompson oblige, but he took it one step further, putting out a call to action on social media, asking other bikers in the region to join in. Just 12 hours after David was initially contacted, he and some 200 other riders were on their way to Stanley’s home. Once there Stanley—a longtime ABATE member and military vet—was treated to his final wish, as more than a collective quarter-million CC’s of America V-Twin sang out. With the assistance of his family, Stanley was carried outside and helped into a sidecar, where he sat and enjoyed the bellow of a big-bore twin for the last time. Stanley finally succumbed to his battle with cancer later that same

In the Cantina – Weekend Roundup for April 24th 2019

You know me, I can’t sit still and talk about old times when we’re burnin’ daylight. I had to monkey with the Torpedo exhaust system again. The turn-out was going to be an issue. Micah and I got together on Monday and hammered at the firewall. We had a long discussion with Drew, who is a Bonneville AMA, and FIM tech. We kicked around the massive fire suppression bottles and whether we need two or one for both compartments. Motorcycles and Motorcycling in the USSR

Motorcycles and Motorcycling in the USSR from 1939: A Social and Technical History Hardcover – April 16, 2019 – available for Pre-Order on Amazon.com https://www.amazon.com//dp/1787113140/ Motorcycles and Motorcycling in the USSR from 1939 provides the first accessible English language account of motorcycles in the Soviet Union. Concentrating on the wartime and postwar period until 1990, prior to the dissolution of the USSR in 1991, it covers the motorcycles produced, and looks at the way in which they were used at home and exported abroad. Chapters cover wartime, models produced, the social character of Soviet era motorcycling, and wide-ranging sport. With planned rather than market-led production based around copies of pre-war German BMW and DKW models, the industry churned out hundreds of thousands of utilitarian and rugged machines that were very different from the more fashion-orientated machines produced in the West. These motorcycles went under the place names of the producing factories: Ishevsk, Kovrov, Moskva, Minsk and, of course, the large flat twins produced in Irbit and Kiev under the Ural and Dnepr names. With a strong emphasis on Soviet era illustrations, the book provides an insight into a life, based on idealism and ideology that has now passed. Photographs and images, many of them from private family collections, show Soviet bikes as well as popular imports Jawa from Czechoslovakia, and Pannonia from Hungary. Hardcover: 128 pages Publisher: Veloce Publishing Language: English ISBN-13: 978-1787113145 ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Colin Turbett got his first motorcycle at age 15 and has owned, built, and cried over mostly British bikes ever since. He currently looks after a 1949 BSA Gold Star, as well as a modern bike. Colin spent a long career in social work in the West of Scotland through which he was a successful textbook author. In recent years motorcycle trips to Eastern
