The world of dirt bike riding is full of thrills and adventures. This thrill and excitement are often shared among dirt bike enthusiasts through various tournaments and events. Supercross and Motocross are two such events that keep dirt bike fans on the edge of their seat. The fans of this adventure sport are very passionate about each of them. But are they both similar or two completely different race events? Let’s find out! Supercross The simplest definition of supercross is a race involving dirt bikes that takes place in a stadium on tracks with different obstacles. A rider needs to navigate through the tracks with much smoothness and speed. The fastest one wins the race, leaving others behind on the track. Motocross Motocross shares a lot of similarities with supercross, with some differences. It takes place in natural or simulated terrain. Due to its outdoorsy nature, the tracks are very different. They are much longer and wider. The ramps are higher with farther jumps. Also, the winner requires different strategies, requiring more physical endurance to succeed. 98th Annual Loudon Classic set for June 18-20, 2021

The 98th Annual Loudon Classic weekend by Mayhew Tools will feature three days of racing with the NorthEast Motorcycle Road Racing NEMRR) series from June 18-20. NEMRR is the premier motorcycle racing organization in the Northeast and is sanctioned by CCS, the largest club racing organization in the US with over 3,000 licensed racers who compete in 6 regional championships. The 2021 Loudon Classic event pays championship points in three CCS regions and as such riders will be attending from all up and down the east coast to compete in 30 separate race classes over the three days. The competition should be fierce! New Hampshire Motor Speedway https://www.nhms.com/ Racing will start at 10:20 AM each day and run until about 5PM. The feature races of the weekend will be held on Saturday from 1:30-3:30PM and are presented by Specialty Saw. Over $8500 in purse money is up for grabs in these feature events. First up will be the Seacoast Sport Cycle Lightweight Grand Prix, featuring smaller displacement motorcycles who utilize high corner speed and late braking to generate fast lap times. Next will be the Street and Competition Unlimited Grand Prix class which showcases the fastest motorcycles in the NEMRR paddock, reaching speeds in excess of 150mph down the 1200 foot front straight of New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The highlight of the weekend is the Loudon Classic by Mayhew Tools, which is presented in 2021 by Motorace and NHMS. Expect a field of 30 or more middleweight machines to battle wheel to wheel for 20 laps in a contest of speed, skill and tire management. Monster Energy® Kawasaki Rider Adam Cianciarulo Captures Second 450SX Podium of the Season

Foothill Ranch, Calif. (February 9, 2020) – Round 6 of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship presented perfect weather conditions in sunny San Diego, California where Monster Energy® Kawasaki rider Adam Cianciarulo captured his second 450SX podium of the season with a second-place finish with Monster Energy®/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider Austin Forkner also bringing home a second-place finish in the 250SX class. Cianciarulo kicked the day off by qualifying with the fastest lap time (49.024) for the sixth week in a row with his teammate Eli Tomac once more following closely in second. As the gate dropped on 450SX Heat 1, Tomac was banging bars at the start which would leave him buried in the pack. Making quick work in the short race, Tomac was able to pass six other contenders in the nine-lap race before crossing the finish line in third. 450SX Heat 2 saw the No. 9 of Cianciarulo grab the holeshot aboard his KX™450 and lead every lap to take the checkered flag. His second heat race of the season. Similarly to the heat race, Cianciarulo shot out front in the 450SX Main Event leading the 22-rider field. Cianciarulo led 20 of the 25 laps before getting passed, crossing the finish line in second. The runner-up result is the rookie’s second runner-up finish of the season and jumped him up to fifth in the 450SX Point Standings. On the other hand, Tomac found himself buried mid-pack in the main creating a daunting task on the tight track, where it was difficult to make a pass.
