Recently the proudly Woke CEO Zeitz claimed he would retire. Shortly afterwards a board member resigned and wrote a letter to the board, see below. Sales are down almost 25 percent and the company is in serious trouble. But we can’t let Harley die—that’s impossible!
See the mission statement I wrote below. This is an opportunity for all of us to step up and make our voices heard. This is an opportunity to set a new direction for this Iconic brand and place it securely on the yellow brick road toward righteousness and freedom.

MY ATTEMPT AT A HARLEY BOARD MISSION STATEMENT
I’m trying to write a mission statement for the H-D Board of Directors. You can help me out. I want to explain how important the Brand is to motorcycling, America and the World. It’s way beyond just making motorcycles. Harley-Davidson represents freedom, innovation, strength, toughness, romance and hard work.
It’s just not another vehicle dealership. It’s a place of open road worship. And in the back is just not a service center changing tires or computer chips. It’s an active vibrant place full of innovation for the custom world, or record breaking Bagger technology, flat track tuning and World Land Speed Record performance.
Harley is so much more than a brand, it’s a lifestyle. It’s freedom to build and fly across the country on two wheels. It’s the tough American who can conquer any obstacle and look sharp and polished at the end of the day.
