WISCONSIN ANTI-BAN LEGISLATION

On April 13th, the Wisconsin State Assembly Committee on State Affairs voted to pass AB141 and AB142 out of committee and on to the floor for a full Assembly vote to be scheduled. These bills would prevent any state government, local government, or agency, from banning the sale or use of combustion engine vehicles or devices.

ABATE of Wisconsin presented this proposed legislature during our annual Lobby Day in March of this year. Although this is a big win for protecting motorcycling as we know it, the vote was not unanimous as we did not have support from the Democrats on the Committee. Protecting combustion engine vehicles as well as ATV’s, snowmobiles, small engines, and farming machinery is very important to us until technology advances enough to give a consumer confidence that an alternative fuel driven device will satisfy what they need the device for.

ABATE will continue to work with both sides of the aisle to ensure that a consumer in Wisconsin will not lose their right to purchase a device with an energy source that they do not feel will function as needed, because of regulations created in the State.

Please help us protect our combustion engine motorcycles by using this link to let your legislators know that this legislation is important to you as a constituent. The letter is drafted, all you need to do is add your name and address and a letter will be sent on your behalf.

Thank you

–Steve Panten

THE HONEY COMB IS OPEN

Technically, all types of natural honey cannot expire because honey doesn’t spoil on its own. (More on why below.)

Honey can and will, however, change. It can change color from pale to dark. It can start clear and become cloudy. And, most peskily, its texture can change from smooth and thin to thick and grainy in a process called crystallization. Thankfully, though, none of these changes make the honey bad or unsafe to eat!

There is an important exception to this rule. If honey is exposed to moisture, it can ferment and spoil, which will be immediately obvious: smelly, sour, moldy and utterly unappetizing.

What is the difference between an Antimicrobial and an Antibiotic? • Antimicrobials act against a wide variety of organisms while antibiotics act only against bacteria. • Antimicrobials include antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, anti-helminths, and anti-protozoa. Unlike most antimicrobials, resistance is a problem with antibiotics.

Whether right or wrong, many believe that mead has close ties to the post-marriage celebration and is the reason we have the term “Honeymoon” to this day. Within many cultures including Welsh, German, and Scandinavian mead was often consumed during the wedding celebration as a toast to the bride and groom.

Mead was also believed to promote fertility and virility. From that ritual and belief sprouted the term “honeymoon.” The honey feature The earliest meads were made from local honey, water, and yeast. Yet honey was among the original sweeteners for wine. Therefore, even today, some mead is also made with grapes or other fruits

SAY HELLO TO THE EPA MOTOR COMPANY–Say goodbye to freedom.

History may someday record today as the beginning of the end of the internal combustion engine – and of individual liberty in the U.S.

According to news reports, the EPA is scheduled to release proposed auto emissions standards today on new car sales so stringent that the only way for automakers to meet them would be to shift two-thirds of their fleet to electric.

But wait. How can a regulatory agency do that? Consumers aren’t demanding electric cars. Lawmakers didn’t vote to force them on the public. The Environmental Protection Agency knows better, though, and, unless it’s neutered, plans to force EVs on you – for your own good.

As the Washington Post helpfully explains, “while the rule changes wouldn’t order or require auto companies to sell a certain number of electric vehicles, it would set emissions limits so tightly the only way to comply would be to sell large percentages of EVs.”

To be clear, we are not talking about air pollution. We are talking about emissions of carbon dioxide, which is not a pollutant but which the EPA has assumed the power to regulate.

The stated goal is to have up to 67% of new cars sold by 2032 be fully electric. (Today, EVs make up a tiny 6% of auto sales.)

The EPA’s latest salvo has put the auto industry in a bind. Having leaped into bed with environmental radicals and the Biden administration in years past, it now finds itself at the mercy of the federal government when it comes to what cars it will be allowed to sell.

The Washington Post notes that “The most aggressive options in the EPA’s proposal are so stringent that many automakers, especially those slowest to adopt electric cars and trucks, will see it as more aggressive than what they can realistically meet.”

We hate to say we told you so, but we told you so. Back in 2011, when we were with the now-defunct IBD editorials page. That year, automakers lined up to support the Obama administration’s ridiculously strict 54.5 miles per gallon fuel-economy standard, which was also designed to force-feed electric cars into the market. Instead of fighting, automakers bent the knee.

“Whatever their reason for caving in to White House demands,” we observed at the time, “the fact is that carmakers have just handed over their businesses lock, wheel, and engine to the dictates of government bureaucrats and global warming enthusiasts.”

Today, we will make another prediction.

That is: The EPA’s move will set off an intra-industry battle, with companies that have already sold their corporate souls to the climate change crowd “heroically” fighting for stricter EV mandates, while those that want to sell cars consumers demand will plead for regulatory leniency and get branded as heretics.

We also predict that none of these automakers will have the stones to argue that this entire socialistic campaign is horribly misguided. That it is a vast overreach of government power. That it is an affront to our basic liberties. That it will cost consumers a fortune. That it will be massively disruptive. And that, even if the EPA gets its way, it will achieve nothing climate-wise.

And that no matter how many concessions automakers make, climate hysterics will never be satisfied … until private ownership of cars is completely outlawed.

Can the EPA be stopped? Yes, but only if consumers rise up and demand an end to this regulatory dictatorship.

BIKERS INSIDE THE BELTWAY 2023–STANDING ON & HOLDING COMMON GROUND

Bikers inside the Beltway – Since the late eighties, the Motorcycle Riders Foundation and motorcyclists’ rights advocates have journeyed to Capitol Hill on behalf of the nation’s motorcyclists. Since 2009 and the inception of Bikers inside the Beltway, the journey matches the MFR’s immediate and long-range legislative goals.

Bikers inside the Beltway 2023 will not deviate from the MRF’s purpose – Standing on and holding common ground to protect the rights of all motorcyclists.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) response to the request from Congress, and initiated by the MRF, to provide the agency’s direction regarding protecting all highways users and especially motorcyclists from the perils of autonomous vehicles being driven without the driver’s full attention to traffic was less than stellar.

The words of former U.S. Representative David Price from North Carolina may well apply to the recent efforts of the Motorcycle Riders Foundation “… Understand that not every battle can be won on the first try and that politics is a matter of striking a balance between … compromising and finding common ground where you can and fighting where you must.”

The MRF found common ground among the nation’s state motorcyclist rights organizations, motorcycle club members, and all freedom loving motorcyclists who, as the Motorcycle Profiling Project demonstrates, are susceptible to being profiled while riding a motorcycle.

Although anti-profiling language was included in the mega funding legislation signed into law in December, the MRF will remain diligent in assisting SMROs pass anti-profiling legislation at the state level.

The MRF’s victories, realized in the waning hours of the 117th Congress in December, drive home Congressman Price’s words, and demonstrate the positive results from standing on and holding common ground. Those victories came from the year-after-year vigilance of MRF members writing, calling, and meeting with members of Congress during the Motorcycle Riders Foundation’s annual Bikers inside the Beltway.

Now is the time for you to make plans to attend Bikers inside the Beltway – May 15 & 16, 2023.

As in years past, Bikers inside the Beltway will be dual-faceted to accommodate in-person visits to Congress plus visits to local district offices.

To ensure that the mission of getting our message to Congress continues to be successful, please consider the following:
  • Make your appointments locally or in Washington.
  • Familiarize yourself with the briefing points.
  • Confirm your appointment locally or in Washington.
  • Virtual or in person, make notes on your meeting.
  • Share your meeting notes with the MRF.
In conjunction with Bikers inside the Beltway, a meeting of the MRF Board of Directors takes place on May 15 at the Embassy Suites, 1900 Diagonal Road, Alexandria, Virginia. Rooms are available through the hotel direct line 703-684-5900 and use reference code MRF.

Bikers inside the Beltway is an essential element of the MRF’s grassroots activism. Rooms are limited and the cut-off date is rapidly approaching. Act now to attend the pre-event briefing and Q&A for visits to Congress, scheduled for 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 15. Briefing packets and “leave behinds” will be available during the briefing.

Thank you for your commitment.

QUICK, OPEN THE BANDIT’S CANTINA BAD JOKE LIBRARY

In a trial, a Southern small-town prosecuting attorney called his first witness, a grandmotherly, elderly woman to the stand. He approached her and asked, ‘Mrs. Jones, do you know me?’

She responded, ‘Why, yes, I do know you, Mr. Williams. I’ve known you since you were a boy, and frankly, you’ve been a big disappointment to me. You lie, you cheat on your wife, and you manipulate people and talk about them behind their backs. You think you’re a big shot when you haven’t the brains to realize you’ll never amount to anything more than a two-bit paper pusher. Yes, I know you.’

The lawyer was stunned. Not knowing what else to do, he pointed across the room and asked, ‘Mrs. Jones, do you know the defense attorney?’

She again replied, ‘Why yes, I do. I’ve known Mr. Bradley since he was a youngster, too. He’s lazy, bigoted, and he has a drinking problem. He can’t build a normal relationship with anyone, and his law practice is one of the worst in the entire state. Not to mention he cheated on his wife with three different women. One of them was your wife. Yes, I know him.’

The defense attorney nearly died.

The judge asked both counselors to approach the bench and, in a very quiet voice, said,

‘If either of you idiots asks her if she knows me, I’ll send you both to the electric chair…!!

FROM BIKERNET BLOG — First Royal Enfield Electric Prototype may appear in 2023.

It’s no secret about Royal Enfield being in no rush to produce its electric vehicle range. The company has emphasized it wants “to get it right the first time.” This probably includes carrying the brand’s retro-inspired legacy into the electric age.

The manufacturer is set to build a new factory where electric motorcycles will eventually be produced. Enfield has recently acquired a new 60-acre parcel of land in Cheyyar near Chennai, where a new, cutting-edge production facility is set to be constructed.

The new Cheyyar plant will also be equipped to produce RE’s existing model range leading up to 2025. After which, depending on the demand, it can be configured to produce EVs.

Later on, maybe another facility may come up through Stark Motor, a Spanish EV firm Royal Enfield recently acquired. Stark’s technology could play a major role in the development of Royal Enfield’s upcoming EV line.

SEMA Reacts to EPA’s New Federal Emissions Standards

SEMA President and CEO Mike Spagnola released the following statement in regards to the Biden administration’s strict new greenhouse gas emissions standards announced yesterday:

On behalf of more than 7,000 SEMA members, we have significant concerns regarding the impact of these proposed regulations on automotive small businesses. The specialty aftermarket industry supports more than one million U.S. automotive manufacturing jobs, yet these people and businesses are often overlooked in the push to electrify our automotive sector.

We fully support the efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, but actively advocate for the ability of consumers and the marketplace to choose what works best for them. There are many options on the road to zero emissions, and we feel it is crucial for government policy to remain technology neutral.

The specialty automotive aftermarket business has been built around the internal combustion engine. It is also the same industry that has led the way in fuel innovations and conversions of old vehicles into new and cleaner technologies. Yet it is clear from the Biden administration’s actions and words that electrification is their technology of choice.

This large-scale shift will significantly disrupt automotive industry supply chains and potentially eliminate large numbers of jobs in vehicle manufacturing, parts production and repair shops. We are here to support the work of small business innovators while protecting the small business owners and those they employ by letting the market and innovation drive solutions to the environmental challenges we all seek to solve.

NEW FROM THE NATIONAL MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM–

1961 Harley-Davidson Sportster XLCH– With the new for 1957 XL model line, the “H” for touring, the “CH” as the new for 1958 high performance off road version, Harley-Davidson satisfied the needs of riders looking for lighter, nimbler high performance motorcycles.

This is a great almost totally unaltered CH that’s part of the Jill & John Parham Collection.

Following in the tracks of the K model, which remained only in racing form after 1956 as the KR750, the XL Sportster arrived in 1957. The biggest advancement over the K was overhead valves plus eventually electric starting on the basic XLH model. But the XLH options list included saddlebags, a windshield, buddy seat and riders could even opt for two ride heights by specifying 18 inch or 19 inch wheels. Seat options varied from traditional sprung post to rigid mount like on this ’61.

Some new, some as K model carryover, a wide range of racing parts were made available by the factory. The competition-only XLR, made in very small numbers for about nine years, shared few engine parts; a production racer. It became a threat on drag strips, hillclimbs and even in AMA sanctioned TT racing. Stripped, the Sportster served well at the drag strip; men like Leo Payne and his tuner Mike Wilson were even able to tune it for assaults on the Land Speed Record at Bonneville. While it has not played a significant role in the military, or often as a police mount, like its predecessors the K Model and the WL model, the Sportster has been a very universal machine.

After over 60 years in the model line-up the Sportster lives on. Recently with big changes to bring it comfort, 76 cubic inches and more than twice the horsepower and even Blue Tooth technology, it brings speed, smoothness and overall sophistication. The Sportster is as cool as ever.

Plan a trip to the Museum before it closes September 4, 2023, and check out this fine Sportster.

See the whole story at the Museum or online.

NEW YORK TO BAN APPAREL WITH PFAS

Recently signed by New York Governor Kathy Hochul, a new law will ban the sale of everyday apparel containing PFAS chemicals in the state starting on January 1, 2025.

The law will also ban the sale of PFAS-containing “outdoor apparel for severe wet conditions” starting on January 1, 2028.

For both types of apparel, the law will apply to new, not previously used clothing. With regard to outdoor apparel in 2028, PFAS cannot be among any intentionally added chemicals used in manufacturing and the level of incidental PFAS in the clothing must not exceed an amount yet to be established.

In powersports, PFAS chemicals can be found in or used to produce products such as riding gear, vehicle components resistant to heat, fuel, and chemicals, as well as semiconductors and chrome plating. Perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances are a class of synthetic chemicals used for decades in a wide range of consumer products. It is in everything from powersports gear and parts to dental floss and medications.

PROTECTING SAFETY GEAR FROM VERMONT PFAS BAN
Seeking an amendment to a Vermont state PFAS bill, Scott Schloegel from the MIC Government Relations Office recently testified before the Senate Health and Welfare Committee, aiming to protect powersports riding gear from a January 1, 2025, ban on PFAS chemicals used in the manufacture of textiles. The bill would also ban PFAS in feminine hygiene products and athletic fields.

Following Schloegel’s testimony, the committee indicated that powersports safety gear could be defined as “outdoor apparel for severe wet conditions,” which will be subject to a PFAS ban in 2028. However, the committee did not make a specific legislative reference or carve-out for motorcycle gear in the bill as requested – leaving interpretation of whether the ban would affect powersports riding gear in January 2025 or 2028 up in the air, if the bill gets signed into law.

“We hope to receive confirmation on this from the committee members since the definition of ‘outdoor apparel for severe wet conditions’ in the bill does not specifically reference our gear,” said Schloegel, senior vice president at the MIC GRO. “Delaying PFAS bans in states nationwide will allow powersports gear manufacturers more time to review their product lines and shift sourcing and production away from PFAS chemicals.”

RACEWAY ROAD ATLANTA

Veterans, Newbies, Known Names, New Names Are Ready To Roll at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta

Plenty Of New Faces And Established Stars Set For MotoAmerica’s Opening Round In Georgia

While two MotoAmerica Championships got their start in early March at Daytona International Speedway, three more classes will join the premier Medallia Superbike class in getting their fresh beginning of a new season with those title chases kicking off at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, April 21-23.

Mission King Of The Baggers and REV’IT! Twins Cup got their seasons rolling in Florida as support classes for the non-points-paying Daytona 200 (which features Supersport-class motorcycles), but Stock 1000, Junior Cup and Supersport will open their championships at the iconic Road Atlanta this weekend.

Supersport – A New Champion Guaranteed

With Josh Herrin making a return to the Medallia Superbike Championship, the only thing we can count on is that the Supersport title will go to a new champion in 2023 in what promises to be a wide-open affair between young guns and seasoned veterans.

With four of the top five from last year’s championship not entered in the opening round of the series at Road Atlanta, others have come from other classes and/or have changed teams.

The ex-Herrin Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati NYC Panigale V2 may be the most coveted ride in the class, and it falls this year to Spaniard Xavi Forés. Forés made his debut on the bike at Daytona, but a mechanical problem thwarted his progress before it really got going as it put him out of the 200 early. Thus, his season really begins at Road Atlanta. If he’s like any of the Europeans who have come before him, those first laps of Road America will open his eyes.

There is no more of a veteran in the class than four-time AMA Superbike Champion Josh Hayes. Though he’s not sure of how many races he and the Squid Hunter Racing team will partake in this season, Road Atlanta is a definite and Hayes will be attempting to put his name into the record books as his next MotoAmerica victory will be his 87th and it will make him the winningest rider in AMA road racing history across all classes.

On the other end of the spectrum is Vision Wheel M4 ECSTAR Suzuki’s Tyler Scott, the youngster finishing third in last years’ title chase while winning the first race of his promising career at Road America. Scott will be back on the same Suzuki GSX-R750 for the same team and will start the championship as one of the favorites. Scott will be joined on the team by another youngster, Teagg Hobbs.

Michael Gilbert Racing’s Michael Gilbert returns to the Supersport ranks after several seasons in the Stock 1000 class. Gilbert will be racing a Team Hammer built Suzuki GSX-R750.

While Hayes may be the most veteran of those in Supersport, Stefano Mesa would come close to matching him in miles raced. Journeyman racer Mesa is slated to ride a Tytlers Cycle Racing Kawasaki ZX-6R in the series.

Cory Ventura moves to the Disrupt Racing team for 2023 after a few quality outings as a fill-in rider last year on the Vision Wheel M4 ECSTAR Suzuki team. Ventura will likely benefit from being under the same awning as veteran Hayden Gillim, who will ride Disrupt Racing Suzukis in the Superbike and Stock 1000 classes.

Others looking to make an impact on the class include the two-rider North East Cycle Outlet Racing team of CJ LaRoche and Anthony Mazziotto, Team Brazil’s Danilo Lewis, Altus Motorsports’ Jaret Nassaney, and Gilbert’s teammate Alejandro Thermiotis.

Stock 1000 – Too Many To Choose From

Forty-one Stock 1000 riders will attempt to qualify for the two races in the series opener and, again, the 2022 class champion isn’t among them. While series champ Corey Alexander will focus his efforts on the Medallia Superbike Championship in 2023, last year’s runner-up Hayden Gillim will again do double duty on his pair of Disrupt Racing Suzukis and will compete in both Stock 1000 and Medallia Superbike. And Gillim, with five wins in 2022, will most definitely start the season as the favorite in Stock 1000.

Travis Wyman Racing’s Travis Wyman, who finished third in the 2022 championship, is also returning with his BMW M 1000 RR after a six-podium season a year ago. Not as fortunate is Brandon Paasch with the New Jerseyan out of action at least for the early part of the year after breaking a bone in his back in a motocross training accident. Paasch’s spot on the Altus Motorsports Suzuki has been taken over by Anthony Norton.

Orange Cat Racing will field two riders in the Stock 1000 class – Ezra Beaubier and Kaleb De Keyrel. Beaubier raced for the team last year and ended the year ranked ninth while De Keyrel is new to the class after finishing fourth in the REV’IT! Twins Cup Championship in 2022 a season after earning the title in the class.

Whether or not Road Atlanta marks the final race of a great career for Geoff May remains to be seen, but the veteran is entered to compete in the Stock 1000 class in his native Georgia. May is entered on the same Geoff May Racing Honda CBR1000RR-R SP that he rode to fifth in last year’s championship.

Junior Cup – Fresh Faces

There are lots of new faces set to do battle in the Junior Cup class with 24 riders entered for the opener at Road Atlanta.

New faces? Well, for starters, Max Van is the only rider entered for this weekend’s two Junior Cup races who finished in the top five in last year’s championship. Last year’s champion Cody Wyman? Gone to REV’IT! Twins Cup. Ditto for Gus Rodio, Kayla Yaakov and Joe LiMandri Jr.

Beyond Max Van, the next highest finishing rider in the class from 2022 who is returning is Bad Boys Racing’s Avery Dreher, who ended up seventh a year ago. Bicknese Racing’s Hayden Bicknese (eighth last year) also returns along with 3D Motorsports’ Chase Black (ninth in 2022) and Yandel Racing’s Yandel Medina (11th).

Headlining the list of new faces is Fairium NGRT – Gray Area Racing’s Rossi Moor, the dominant Mini Cup by Motul rider from the 2021 season. In addition to being new to the class, Moor will also be riding the only KTM RC 390 R in this year’s series. Remember, however, that Tyler Scott rode a KTM to the title in 2021.

The only other non-Kawasaki Ninja 400 in this year’s title chase is the Yamaha YZF-R3, which will be ridden by MP13 Racing’s Aiden Sneed.

REV’IT! Twins Cup – The Champ Is Back

REV’IT Twins Cup is one of the classes where last year’s champion will be back to try and defend his title. That rider is N2/BobbleHeadMoto’s Blake Davis, the young Virginian who came away with the title after his six-podium, three-victory effort a season ago on his Yamaha YZF-R7.

And REV’IT! Twins Cup is also one of two classes that started its championship at Daytona with a two-race opening round. The two races were won by Rodio Racing – Powered By Robem Engineering Aprilia’s Gus Rodio and by Stefano Mesa who was filling in for the injured Kayla Yaakov on the MP13 Racing Yamaha.

Davis, who finished with a pair of fourths at Daytona, is already under the gun as many of the riders he battled with a year ago are back for another crack at the title chase.

Optimum Performance Motorsports’ Jody Barry is likely one of the hungriest after a stellar early 2022 season had him atop the point standings for most of the season. However, a less-than-stellar late season pushed him down to second in the title chase and tied with Anthony Mazziotto, who has moved to the Supersport class for 2023. Barry started his season with sixth- and seventh-place finishes.

Of the riders moving up to REV’IT! Twins Cup, it was Rodio who started with a bang at Daytona, winning race one and finishing second in race two, he leads the championship by nine points over Jackson Blackmon.

Blackmon had a great weekend at Daytona, especially so, considering it was his first race back from a badly broken ankle that kept him out of most of the races a year ago. Blackmon rode his Track Day Winner/Blackmon Racing Yamaha YZF-R7 to second and third at Daytona.

Another nine points behind Rodio after leaving Daytona with third-and fifth-place finishes is Cycle Tech’s Hayden Schultz, who is just one point ahead of Davis.

Other riders expected to challenge in the REV’IT! Twins Cup class are non-defending Junior Cup Champion Cody Wyman, Altus Motorsports Joe LiMandri Jr., Rodio’s teammate Ben Gloddy and Team Iso’s Dominic Doyle with the latter two having Daytonas they’d rather forget. Doyle crashed twice, taking Gloddy with him the first time and leaving Gloddy injured and unable to take part in race two. Both are entered to compete at Road Atlanta.

Mission King Of The Baggers – Let The War Resume

The first of what will be a season-long war between Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycle riders in the Mission King Of The Baggers Championship got their start at Daytona International Speedway in early March and round one went to Harley-Davidson – though probably not to the Harley-Davidsons you expected.

The man at the top of the championship as the series pulls into Road Atlanta for round two is Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson’s James Rispoli, the New Yorker who now calls Florida home winning his first-career Baggers race in race one at Daytona and finishing second in race two. That adds up to a nice little haul of 45 points.

Second in the title chase after Daytona? Well, that would be Rispoli’s Vance & Hines teammate Hayden Gillim by virtue of his second-and third-place finishes. Third in the championship after Daytona? Still not a factory Harley-Davidson or Indian, but instead Team Saddlemen Harley-Davidson’s Cory West with his pair of fourths from Daytona.

Then came the big guns – 2021 Mission King Of The Baggers Champion Kyle Wyman and 2022 Champion Tyler O’Hara of the H-D Screamin’ Eagle and Indian Motorcycle/Progressive/Mission Foods Indian teams in fourth and fifth, respectively.

Kyle Wyman was a non-finisher in race one and then dominated race two; O’Hara was third in race one and a rather remarkable 11th in race two despite tire issues.

O’Hara’s teammate Jeremy McWilliams also struggled with a fifth in race one and similar tire woes pushing him back to an even more impressive eighth in race two.

The second of the Wyman brothers on the factory Harley team, Travis Wyman, is likely looking forward to Road Atlanta more than anyone in the class as mechanical issues forced him out of both Daytona races. He arrives in Georgia with zero points – 45 points behind Rispoli.

Road Atlanta Support Class Notes

Kyle Wyman won last year’s Mission King Of The Baggers race at Road Atlanta with the 2021 class champion besting James Rispoli and Tyler O’Hara.

Kyle Wyman’s fastest lap in the race was also the fastest lap of the weekend for a Bagger with his 1:31.789 making him the only rider to dip into the 1:31s. Wyman also had the fastest lap from Q1 with a 1:31.874.

The lone Stock 1000 race last year at Road Atlanta was won by Corey Alexander by just .001 of a second over Michael Gilbert. Travis Wyman finished third.

Josh Herrin got his Supersport season off to a perfect start a year ago at Road Atlanta with the Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati NYC-backed Panigale V2 rider taking victories in both races. Herrin beat Sam Lochoff and Benjamin Smith in race one and topped Lochoff and Rocco Landers in race two.

Jody Barry beat Teagg Hobbs by just .073 of a second to win the REV’IT! Twins Cup race in Braselton in 2022 with Ben Gloddy finishing third.

In Junior Cup action, it was Cody Wyman besting Max Van and Joe LiMandri Jr. in race one with Max Van beating Aden Thao and Kayla Yaakov in race two.

Fourteen Mission King Of The Baggers races have been held, including the very first invitational race at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in 2020, and there have been six different winners in series history. Kyle Wyman, the 2021 class champion, leads the way with six wins, followed by defending class champion Tyler O’Hara’s four victories. Jeremy McWilliams, Travis Wyman, Bobby Fong and James Rispoli each have a victory.

While on the subject of parity, the REV’IT! Twins Cup series has plenty of it with 21 different winners in a class that started its sixth season at Daytona in March with two new winners – Gus Rodio and Stefano Mesa. The all-time leader in class victories is Kaleb De Keyrel with 10 wins. For 2023, De Keyrel moves to the Stock 1000 class on an Orange Cat Racing BMW M 1000 RR.

BIKERNET GUN NUT REPORT

Today, three policy committees will hear more anti-gun bills, including increasing the waiting period to a potential 30 days and mandating microstamping for all semi-auto handguns, not just new ones. Please use the “Take Action” button below to contact committee members and ask them to OPPOSE these bills.

Assembly Public Safety Committee

Assembly Bill 1252 uses your taxpayer dollars to create a so-called “Office of Gun Violence Prevention” to generate propaganda promoting the erosion of Second Amendment rights.

Assembly Bill 1406 allows state authorities to require firearm transfers to be delayed for up to 30 days if they are unable to complete the background check within the ten day waiting period in current law.

Assembly Bill 1483 expands California’s one-gun-per-month rationing scheme to also include private party transfers.

Assembly Bill 1598 requires licensed firearm dealers to provide a DoJ published pamphlet on “the benefits and risks of firearm ownership” to those receiving firearms, with nothing preventing the pamphlet from being little more than anti-gun propaganda pieces.

Assembly Judiciary Committee starting at 9:00AM

Assembly Bill 1089 expands California’s ban on private citizens and non-professional users making firearms with CNC milling machines or possessing CNC milling machines that have the “primary” or “intended” function of manufacturing firearms to also include 3D printers.

Senate Public Safety Committee starting at 8:30AM

Senate Bill 452 prohibits firearm dealers from selling or transferring any semi-automatic handgun after January 1st, 2027, unless the state certifies that it has microstamping. In addition, it also prohibits replacing a microstamping component on such a handgun unless it is replaced with another “valid” microstamping component.

Senate Bill 417 changes the state-mandated signs that licensed firearm dealers must post at their premises, to include anti-gun propaganda.

FORCITE’s High Technology Helmets Now Available in the United States

Tucker Powersports Dealerships to Offer Award Winning, High-Technology Helmet

Forcite and Tucker Powersports, announce the availability of Forcite MK1S, the world’s most advanced motorcycle helmet, through powersports dealerships in the United States. The highly sought after Forcite MK1S touts a first-to-market smart helmet system and advanced features in audio, visual and road alert systems for motorcycle riders.

Tech features include:

* A proprietary road alert and in-helmet, peripheral LED display that communicates route information and turn-by-turn directions to the rider, with no need to look away from the road ahead.

* High-end audio with Harman Kardon speakers and a dual microphone designed specifically for Forcite’s motorcycle environment.

* Built-in action camera with 1080p resolution, low-light capability and a Sony IMX sensor.

The carbon fiber shell allows Forcite to deliver the lightest smart helmet on the market, and houses 3D-formed foam padding throughout, a unique neck roll design and a chin curtain to reduce road noise for the rider. The visor features a Pinlock MAX120 insert, which absorbs moisture to keep the visor clear and offers a unique Pinlock closure system with a locking switch for track and high-speed use.

Forcite’s Australia-based CEO and Co-Founder, Alfred Boyadgis, joined forces with industrial designer, Julian Chow, to make a radically improved motorcycle helmet after being involved in a motorcycle crash.

The result is a design that eliminates heavy clip-on cameras, unmatched headsets and difficult to read or hear rider information. The Forcite app integrates with the helmet’s Rider Alert System and leverages online information to deliver a more dynamic and safer riding experience.

Forcite’s Aftercare Program ensures that an investment in a smart helmet retains its value, even if a rider is involved in a crash. Should a Forcite owner’s helmet get damaged, the company will transfer the tech components to a new shell, test all of the electronics and deliver it to the owner for only the cost of the new shell. Specific details of this program are available on the Forcite website.

Tucker Powersports distributes the Forcite MK1S through their network of dealerships and are available for immediate shipment. Suggested retail price is $1099.99.

H.R. 1435– the “Preserving Choice in Vehicle Purchases Act

Across the country a battle is underway between those that want to end the availability of combustion engines, and those fighting to protect their survival. While states like California and Massachusetts are setting timelines for purchase bans on internal combustion engines, other states like New Hampshire and Wisconsin are pushing back.

The Biden Administration recently rolled out plans shifting this country to a majority electric vehicle market over the next ten years. Republicans in Congress have responded. In March, Rep. John Joyce of Pennsylvania introduced H.R. 1435 the “Preserving Choice in Vehicle Purchases Act.” H.R. 1435 would amend the Clean Air Act to prevent a ban on the sale of internal combustion engines, effectively trumping any state law that outlaws their sale.

Now is the time to have your voice heard. Let Congress know you support the right to choose the type of engine you buy.

Visit Website to contact your Member of the House of Representatives and ask them to support H.R. 1435.

CO2 COALITION– Fighting for Your Rights

The Department of Energy (DOE) is proposing to revise their standards for natural gas stoves. The practical effect of the new standards is banning gas stoves by regulation and switching people from gas to electric stoves.

?The DOE itself admits that electricity costs 3.5 times the cost of natural gas per energy unit – $42 versus $12 for natural gas per million BTU, so the new rules will necessarily increase cooking costs greatly.

New TECH Bikernet Reader Comment!–Part 3: Cabana Dan’s Early Projects

https://www.bikernet.com/pages/Part_3_Cabana_Dans_Early_Projects.aspx

Great article about the 1914, love to read about the attention to detail. I’m in the process to refurbish a 1975 XLH that I acquired as a basket case. I’d like to put it back together as close to factory stock as possible.

Trying to find parts is tough and even worse is finding an old school mechanic with the proper tools and knowledge to assemble the motor. (A 1914, amazing.)

Great article!!! Thanks and keep it up.

BIKERNET BOOK OF THE WEEK CLUB–BOOK RECOMMENDATION

Why most people pick the wrong career, according to a former rocket scientist

Deciding what you want can be incredibly hard, particularly if you’ve spent your life—as most of us have—going along with what others want for you.

If you put a seed upside down in the ground, the sprouting plant will right itself. Roots know which direction they need to point in order to grow and will turn themselves until they get there. But unlike plants, most people who know they’re pointed the wrong way will still keep growing in that direction—simply because that’s what they’ve always done. As a result, they end up living a life out of alignment with who they are.

Ask yourself: What do I want from my life? What do I really want?

INTERESTING FACTS—First, the term Fossil Fuels is inaccurate. Oil comes from all dead matter or it’s called Former Living Matter. That means that oil is made up of anything that dies, like trees, animals, you name it. Oil is the second most abundant liquid on or in this planet.

Okay, and everything is made up of carbon including you and me. Zero carbon is not possible. And the carbon molecule or CO2 is not a pollutant. It’s the food of life whether it comes from exhaust or dead shit.

HOLD ON FOR THE NAMZ NEWSLETTER

Our newsletter turns “60”! Our goal is to provide you useful motorcycle related information, press releases or technical tips regarding our three brands, every month! Thanks for reading, have a great spring!

Sometimes we make mistakes, yup… we do! When we find them, sometimes with the help of YOU, we fix it right away!

Our speedometer extension part number, NSXH-CB36A harness was found to be incorrect for Road King models as we didn’t have enough wires in the harness to cover all of the functions. We did some more research, found our mistake and made a rolling correction.

This means, we didn’t have to change the part number or description, keeping those the same. This happens when you try to make a “one-size-fits-all” product but we do apologize for the error!

NSXH-CB36A: NAMZ Plug-n-Play Speedometer & Instrument Extension Harness, 36″ Fits 2014-Up Road King & Sportster, 2012-2016 Dyna, 2011-Up Softail Models except (FXBB, FXBR, FXBRS).

Allows for easy relocation of speedometer and indicator lights.

Our replacement complete EFI harness for 2002 through 2005 models, part number NHD-70233-02 (pictured) was found to have an improper product description.

This sometimes happens as the OEM service manuals, believe it or not are not always correct, or the data we research, no matter where we find it isn’t always correct and for that, we apologize. Luckily, we have a customer on the “Left Coast” of California that pointed this out and asked us to make it right!

We fixed the description and are in the final stages of creating it’s predecessor, part number NHD-70233-04A.

I limped into the HD dealership in Bozeman Montana. The dealership went out of their way to help me out. I ended up having them replace the motor. Expensive as hell, but it’s all good now. Big thumbs up for the Bozeman dealership.

Let me know what I can do to help you with the sheath.

–Howard Knight

JUST THE BEGINNING
My bookkeeper said she thought I might get bored in South Dakota. Bored of what? I seem to be busier than ever and it’s all good. Progress.

Okay, I kid Irish Rich about getting close to final welding. He’s already at the powder-coater. I’m way behind… Worked on a battery tray and kickstand. My report should be launched any day.

I’m going to follow it with a tech about dealing with rust from vinegar or acid, it can be handled.

Last week my family in Austin attended the Hand Built show. These are my granddaughters, Max and Olivia.

Machining little brass fittings is a challenge. One down and two to go.

The ’58 Chevy will be ready on Saturday, and across the street we will pick up a cherry pie from the bake sale to be delivered to a neighbor in Boulder Canyon. He’s a great guy and his wife Dawn is the boss of the Deadwood Chamber. He’s got the big C and needs a cherry pie bad.

I’m confused. I bought some fasteners from Sean at Competition Distributing. They say they’re based in Pennslyvania, or is that Sturgis. I’ll figure it out tomorrow. We’re going to check out a VL roller project for John in Deadwood, a 45 flathead fan.

Nasty gutter cleaning in Deadwood. Hang on.

Tomorrow, we hope to finalize my VL, XA, FL Knuck 4-speed case, 5-speed transmission with Irish Rich at his Shamrocks studios in Sturgis. I swear, I’ll wrap up the story.

Keep the faith and stay riding free.

US & EU PUSH IMMINENT DEMISE OF FOSSIL FUEL VEHICLES
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed sweeping emissions cuts for new cars and trucks through 2032, a move it says could mean two out of every three new vehicles automakers sell will be electric within a decade. The EPA proposal, if finalized, represents the most aggressive U.S. vehicle emissions reduction plan to date, with automakers forecast to produce 60% EVs by 2030 and 67% by 2032 to meet requirements – compared with just 5.8% of U.S. vehicles sold in 2022 that were EVs.

John Bozzella, CEO of the Alliance for Automotive Innovation representing General Motors, Volkswagen, Toyota and others, told Reuters that “factors outside the vehicle, like charging infrastructure, supply chains, grid resiliency, the availability of low carbon fuels and critical minerals will determine whether EPA standards at these levels are achievable.”

EPA Administrator Michael Regan declined to endorse setting a date to end the sale of new gasoline-powered vehicles, and emphasized that the current proposal is a “performance-based standard” and not an EV mandate.

Taking an even stricter approach, abroad, the European Parliament has formally approved a law to effectively ban the sale of new petrol and diesel cars in the European Union from 2035, aiming to speed up the switch to electric vehicles and combat climate change.

The landmark rules will require that by 2035 carmakers must achieve a 100% cut in CO2 emissions from new cars sold, which would make it impossible to sell new fossil fuel-powered vehicles in the 27-country bloc.

Meanwhile, back in the states, U.S. Representative John Joyce (R-PA) along with more than sixty cosponsors has introduced House Resolution 1435 “To amend the Clean Air Act to prevent the elimination of the sale of internal combustion engines.”

Titled the “Preserving Choice in Vehicle Purchases Act,” H.R. 1435 is designed to protect Americans’ right to choose the technology that powers their motor vehicles.

CALIFORNIA BILL WOULD LIFT BANS ON CRUISING
Assemblyman David Alvarez (D-San Diego) has introduced Assembly Bill 436 to repeal the ban on cruising statewide and prohibit local authorities from stopping drivers from cruising and driving cars that have been modified to be of a certain height.Cruising became popularized nationally after the release of breakout film “American Graffiti” in 1973, a coming of age comedy-drama set in 1960s Modesto, but cities across California (and elsewhere) began to enact bans on cruising in automobiles [and motorcycles] starting in the 1970s during the oil embargo.  In 1982, the California Legislature authorized cities to pass ordinances prohibiting cruising, declaring “the cruising of vehicles in business areas of cities and communities in this state for the purpose of socializing and assembling interferes with the conduct of business, wasted precious energy, resources, impedes the progress of general traffic and emergency vehicles, and promotes the generation of local concentrations of air pollution and undesirable noise levels.”

AB 436 would remove the authorization for a local authority to adopt rules and regulations regarding cruising.  This current effort follows a resolution unanimously approved by the State Legislature last year (ACR 176) encouraging cities to repeal their bans and recognizes that cruising holds cultural significance for many communities.

LANE SPLITTING BILL FILTERS THROUGH OREGON LEGISLATURE
Beaver State lawmakers are taking another crack at letting motorcyclists travel between lanes in slow or stopped traffic, two years after then-Gov. Kate Brown unexpectedly vetoed a similar bill.  Senate Bill 422 recently passed the Senate with strong bipartisan support by a 27-2 vote.  It now heads to the House, where representatives in both parties have signed on as sponsors. If passed, motorcyclists would be able to travel between lanes on multi-lane highways with a speed limit of at least 50 mph, but only when traffic has slowed to 10 mph or less.  Motorcyclists riding between cars could travel no more than 10 mph faster than the flow of traffic.

Motorcyclists argue the policy can improve traffic congestion and leaves them less vulnerable to being rear-ended by inattentive drivers.

If the bill makes it through the Senate and receives gubernatorial approval, Oregon would join four other western states in endorsing some form of the practice, which is known as lane splitting, lane sharing or lane filtering, depending on the exact details of the behavior allowed.

California currently allows lane splitting under different circumstances than Oregon’s proposed law, as does Montana.  Utah allows a similar concept called “filtering” when traffic is stopped at an intersection.  A policy in Arizona took effect in September.

Neighboring Washington does not allow the practice, though is currently considering such legislation (HB 1063).  One frequently cited study from the University of California Berkeley concluded that lane splitting can be safe under certain conditions.

HAWAII CONSIDERS ‘RIDE ON RED’ LEGISLATION
A new bill in the Aloha State could allow riders to go on red lights during certain hours, as House Bill 1319 aims to solve the problem of motorcyclists being stranded at red lights that don’t detect their presence.“If you don’t have enough metal, sometimes you won’t be detected because the loops work on electromagnetic fields which is broken by metal,” according to Hawaii Department of Transportation engineering program manager Bryan Kimura.

HB 1319 “Allows operators of bicycles, motorcycles, and mopeds to proceed through an intersection on a steady red signal during certain hours (11 p.m.-5 a.m.) if the traffic signal is controlled by a vehicle detection device that is inoperative due to the size or composition of the bicycle, motorcycle, or moped.”

Hawaii already allows “shoulder surfing” for motorcyclists, which is considered an alternative to lane splitting on their narrower roads.

Over 20 states have enacted “dead red” or “ride on red” laws that give motorcyclists and bicyclists an affirmative defense to proceed through a red light with caution after stopping when they are not detected by the traffic light controller, though each state is different and has its own unique rules about the time period.

PLUG YOUR EARS
Tinnitus UK is urging motorcycle riders to use ear protection in the name of permanent hearing loss – as much as 80 decibels will cause trouble, despite health officials recommending that “anything over 85dB an employer should provide ear protectors.”According to Motorcycle Cruiser, bikes average around 85 decibels of sound at 35-45mph, with a 30-bike pilot test completed by the University of Florida showing far higher levels at highway speeds, noting; “Measurements of motorcycle riding noise levels vary, but are generally around 85-95 dB at speeds up to 35 mph, climbing to 110-116 dB at 65 mph.”

120 dB is the equivalent of a rock concert, and you shouldn’t be exposed to it for more than 7.5 minutes before possible hearing loss can occur, so plug your ears and hear longer.

FACIAL RECOGNITION COMING TO MOTORCYCLES
With AI in the mainstream news lately, and new technologies integrating into our daily lives, it should come as no surprise that BMW is now the first motorcycle manufacturer in the world to incorporate facial recognition software that makes the traditional ignition key superfluous.Billed as anti-theft technology, BMW’s iFace system utilizes infrared to map the rider’s facial features, builds a virtual model of the user’s face in three dimensions, and should someone else attempt to steal your BMW, iFace will send a distress message to eCall electronic emergency service and BMW Motorrad Call Centre.

Further, to help identify the thief, the scan data is sent to a central international database of criminals for identification.  We don’t recommend you use this feature if you have any outstanding warrants.

The system is set to be unveiled to the public at an autumn 2023 motorcycle show, and it’ll only be available on BMW’s Boxer-engined bikes.

POLICE DRONES ZERO IN ON MOTORCYCLE ROAD SAFETY
New police drones are being trialed in the U.K. to try and reduce road accidents, with a particular focus put on motorcyclists.  The RAC reports that the drones will be able to be used to track a vehicle’s speed, and record any incidents.  Video captured from the drone can then be used against offending road users.  Additionally, the drones are reportedly able to check the insurance, MOT, and road tax status of a car or motorcycle, and even track stolen vehicles.Recording of a vehicle can be done by a drone up to four miles away, and the project is a part of the Police’s “Vision Zero” initiative, which aims to improve road safety by totally eradicate injuries and deaths from road traffic collisions and crashes.

It seems that there is a particular focus on motorcyclists, as Inspector Colin Harper from the drone team described the use of the drones as “innovative” and added: “At present, our focus is on motorcyclists, who are at highest-risk according to our data, particularly at this time of year when more riders will be venturing out again after the winter.”

SUSTAINABLE SAFETY: BAMBOO HELMETS
Just as pillowcases have gone from cotton to bamboo, the helmet industry is following suit with bamboo helmet shells produced by French motorcycle helmet brand Roof.Coverage from RideApart.com states that each helmet comes with a clear protective coating over the bamboo fibers, and that “Roof claims that the Bamboo helmet is just as safe as a standard polycarbonate shell,” adding; “The bamboo shell has been engineered to be flexible, resistant, and lightweight. Of course, the helmets have undergone independent testing, and are certified under the latest ECE 22.06 standard.”

Expect it to arrive in a recycled bag, retailing for €349 EUR (that translates to around $382 USD), with the promise to make you the highlight at the next rally.

Well, surely, this epic effort suggests a major shift in content. Maybe it’s a sign that we need to expand our horizons to include scooters, mopeds, renew our interest in autocycles, trikes and off-road two-wheelers.

Our intent is always to focus on covering the enormous scope of two-wheel industry and how bikers and riders transition from one set of vehicles to the next. Maybe you started off on dirt-bikes and now have a passion for custom choppers.

Lunar Looney Bunny: A Vespa Is for Fun

Vespa is a two-wheeler brand with great recall value all over the world. Their Vespa 946 “Bunny” model was introduced to commemorate the Year of the Bunny and the 10th anniversary of this model. But you don’t need to be hopping mad to buy it for other reasons.

It’s a cute graphic which is delightful and attractive to youth, for a brand always associated with youth.

We mostly talk motorcycles here at Bikernet.com but the market for scooters is huge globally. Majorly, the ladies find scooters without gears easy to learn and ride because they can wear any kind of dress — formal or casual or ethnic or hot couture — and still navigate the busy urban jungle — ‘hopping’ from home to office to grocery shopping to cafes, et al.

You have your legs in front rather than the horse-rider saddle position of a motorcycle. This has its own benefits for the scooter rider, including easier city traffic navigation (for both men and women and teens).

I mean, how many two-wheelers offer you style along with performance – true, they come at a premium price. For love, no price is too big. Therefore, this looney bunny graphic can double as a cool Easter weekend ride. Why not?

The bunny version of Vespa 946 is limited to 1000 units only, each with a unique serial number.

Why are all these Vespa scooters so expensive? It is reported that throughout Piaggio’s history, every Vespa has been made from steel. The latest Vespa scooters are no exception. Models such as Vespa 946, the GTS Sei Giorni and the Vespa Elettrica are also made out of steel.

Obviously, steel is more expensive than plastic parts. They are built to last. So don’t discount scooters as something silly and childish.

From its very beginning, Vespa scooters have become famous in the two-wheel industry for their painted, pressed steel unibody which combines, in a unified structural unit, a complete cowling for the engine (enclosing the engine mechanism and concealing dirt or grease), a flat floorboard (providing foot protection), and a prominent front fairing (providing wind protection).

Hey, the 150cc engine of Looney Lunar Bunny Vespa 946 can carry you & your better half all the way to a vacation home safely on modern highways. If you are a motorcycle rider, it takes some time & practice to be comfortable with smaller wheels on a scooter.

Vespa 946 Key Specs:

•Engine: 150cc single cylinder, 3-valve, air cooled 4-stroke
•Power: 12.7 HP @ 8000 RPM, 8.5 lbs-ft torque @ 6500 RPM
•Compression Ratio: 10.5:1
•Transmission: Automatic CVT
•Bore & Stroke: 58.0 mm x 58.6 mm
•Fuel Delivery: Electronic fuel injection
•Wheelbase: 55.3”
•Weight: 346 lbs.
•Starter: Electric
•Seat height: 31.7”
•Fuel Tank: 8.5L / 2.25 gallon
•Front Brake: 220mm disc brake with ABS
•Rear Brake: 220m disc brake with ABS
•Front Suspension: Anti-dive geometry with linkage and single shock
•Rear Suspension: Single horizontal linkage activated shock with adjustable preload
•Tires: 120/70-12 (front), 130/70-12 (rear)

While you are wondering whether that exclusive Vespa is worth the expense, you might want to have a peek at a more affordable 75th anniversary edition Vespa, offered in 125cc and 150cc engines.

Yes, in 2021 it had been 75 years since the launch of the brand we know as ‘Vespa’. Established in April 1946, these were prettiest of scooters and the current models reflect the same design & styling. They are still aspired to by young as well as older generation.

This 75 years anniversary edition features a new special edition paint job, badges, and a few other changes to standard LX 125 and VXL 150. Biggest difference is the circular leather bag on the tail, which resembles a spare wheel, and the new metallic yellow paint job. Sport ‘75’ numbering on the side panels and mudguard, along with a ‘75’ badge on the front storage compartment.

The 125cc engine is air-cooled, single-cylinder motor, having 9.92 PS of peak power and 9.60 Nm of maximum torque. The 150cc engine, air-cooled, single-pot motor, with 10.47 PS and 10.6 Nm. Transmission on both is via CVT on both giving you a twist & go readiness.

Unlike the strict production of the Lunar Bunny edition, there are enough of the 75th anniversary models for everyone to get going to the dealerships. I personally have very limited experience on scooters probably due to media / public perception of a scooter-rider –but if I had to pick one scooter to own from plenty of pretty ones offered by Japanese, European and Indian companies, then the Vespa would win my favor instantly.

So, hang around these ‘urban hippies’ (an oxymoron term?), and check out the cafes – you might just find true love. There are enthusiasts who meet and ride together on scooters and those exclusively riding Vespa. If you test-ride one, do let us know your experiences with them. Go ride it with your love-bunny.

Full-Spectrum CBD: Benefits Of Buying It In Bulk

If you want to purchase full-spectrum CBD in bulk from https://cbdfx.com/collections/full-spectrum-cbd/, you’ve come to the right place. Bulk purchasing is a great option for those looking for large-volume items, as it typically means lower prices – that way, you can stock up and save! Purchasing products in bulk also helps simplify the shopping experience, as there’s less time spent looking into the specifications of different products, making it easier to get what you need quickly. When buying products with full-spectrum CBD in bulk quantities, looking into product reviews from verified customers or researching the individual brands producing these goods can be beneficial. Doing so can give a better understanding of the quality and benefits associated with each product available.

7 Benefits Of Buying Full-Spectrum CBD In Bulk

1. Cost Savings
Buying full-spectrum CBD in bulk can be a great way to save money. With the cost of these products tending to go up with smaller purchases, opting to buy larger numbers can significantly reduce costs without compromising quality.

Bulk items are often cheaper per unit, so you get more bang for your buck and can enjoy better savings by stocking up. Additionally, buying in bulk can eliminate the time and money spent on restocking, making it much easier and more cost-efficient to remain well-stocked.

 2. Variety

Customers will benefit from the variety offered when purchasing full-spectrum CBD in bulk. With larger quantities and multiple options, there is a greater selection of potency and effects available.

From high dose to low dose, full-spectrum CBD can range from mellow and calming to energetic and uplifting. Whether you’re a novice or an experienced user, bulk purchases offer an array of options that make it easier to find just the right product for your needs.

3. Quality Assurance
Quality assurance should be a top priority if you are considering purchasing full-spectrum CBD in bulk. Bulk purchases of this type of product require assurance that the product you are buying is held to the highest standards.

Quality assurance uses standardized measures and process control to ensure that products meet specific requirements. Buying from reliable vendors with quality assurance can ensure consistency in the products and guarantee their safety for ingesting or topical use. You can feel confident knowing that your product will meet these standards and be of great value.

4. Convenience
Buying these products in bulk can be beneficial for those looking for convenience. Bulk purchasing reduces the number of transactions you need to make and the time needed to purchase multiple items.

Moreover, bulk purchases typically come with various product formats, so you can easily tailor your purchases according to your needs. Depending on where you shop, buying in bulk may also give access to discounts and other perks (such as free delivery). These advantages make buying full-spectrum CBD in bulk a smart move for those seeking convenience and hassle-free transactions.

5. Freshness
If you’re looking to purchase full-spectrum CBD in bulk, freshness should be an essential factor to consider. When buying in bulk, the focus should be on finding a top-quality and long-lasting product supplier.

By selecting a supplier that stores their product properly, you can ensure that it remains intact with all its natural components preserved. This is especially beneficial for products like edibles and oils since quality is significantly impacted by age and exposure to direct sunlight or high temperatures.

Furthermore, properly stored full-spectrum CBD can boost the flavor and effects of the product when consumed. Ultimately, buying full-spectrum CBD in bulk from a reliable retailer ensures that you’re getting a premium product that is fresh and void of any degradation.

6. Sustainable Sourcing
Buying full-spectrum CBD in bulk is an excellent way to reduce costs, particularly for those seeking a long-term option to meet their needs. It is also beneficial because of sustainable sourcing. This approach focuses on carefully harvested and cultivated ingredients, with more consideration given to the environmental impact of growing and harvesting the product.

This means that customers will receive full-spectrum CBD grown in a manner that is environmentally sound and socially responsible. Sustainable sourcing helps create peace of mind that your product has been sourced responsibly – both for your wallet and planet Earth.

7. Better Logistics Management
Buying in bulk can offer some benefits for buyers of full-spectrum CBD. From logistical improvements to cost-saving measures, there’s plenty to be gained when selecting larger quantities.

Studies suggest that better logistics management is one of the many upsides to bulk purchases. The improved supply chain management and tracking capabilities associated with wholesale transactions can significantly decrease lead times and shipping errors, making the experience of buying larger amounts easier, smoother, and more efficient.

When acquiring full-spectrum CBD in bulk, companies and consumers benefit from improved logistic processes that are unavailable with smaller orders.

Things To Keep In Mind While Buying full-spectrum CBD In Bulk
Buying full-spectrum CBD in bulk can be intimidating, but with a few key points to keep in mind, it’s easy to make sure you make a wise purchase that meets both your needs and budget.

Firstly, it is essential to always check the product’s label for information about the exact amount of full-spectrum CBD per product and its concentration.

Secondly, always source from reputable retailers and ask questions if necessary to understand precisely what is in the product you are buying – making sure to obtain certificates of analysis when available.

Lastly, it is essential to consider pricing carefully; although investing more can help ensure greater quality, some products may not be worth their price tag! Knowing all this makes it easier to confidently buy full-spectrum CBD in bulk.

Summing It Up
Purchasing full-spectrum CBD in bulk is an excellent way for those looking to benefit from the therapeutic effects of these compounds. It is essential to research the best way to buy and store these products so that they can offer maximum benefits. Regarding safety and health, it is always advisable to go with a reputable vendor that offers high-quality products. It is also important to remember that these products may contain some products that may not suit everyone, so it is worth asking –does cbd cause headaches? – before making a purchase.

First Royal Enfield Electric Prototype

with inputs by Enrico Punsalang from https://www.rideapart.com

First Royal Enfield Electric Prototype Expected To Break Cover In 2023

The manufacturer is set to build a new factory where electric motorcycles will eventually be produced.

The words “electric” and “retro” don’t usually belong in the same sentence, especially when it comes to motorcycles. However, Royal Enfield, who previously announced that it was developing its very first electric motorcycle may be nearing a working prototype.

Electric motorcycles will never be able to exude the same charm and riding sensation as that of a thumpy single-cylinder, or a burly parallel-twin, but it can make up for this when it comes to styling, and ultimately, fit and finish. That is of course the specialty of Royal Enfield, distinguishing it from all the ‘modern’ motorcycles. Plus, Enfield’s cost a fraction of the price and establishes your own unique presence on the road.

Little is known about the specifics of Royal Enfield’s upcoming EV adventure. Enfield is reportedly gearing up to ramp up its production. Specifically, the company has recently acquired a new 60-acre parcel of land in Cheyyar near Chennai, where a new, cutting-edge production facility is set to be constructed.

There are reports from multiple Indian motoring publications which suggest that Enfield’s first EV will eventually be manufactured in this hi-tech facility.

Endield EV is undergoing development in its exisitng Vallam Vadagal plant with a dedicated production line set up precisely for RE’s EV range of bikes. Maybe another facility may come up through Stark Motor, a Spanish EV firm Royal Enfield recently acquired. Stark’s technology could play a major role in the development of Royal Enfield’s upcoming EV line.

Also, its no secret about Royal Enfield being in no rush to produce its electric vehicle range. The company has emphasized it wants “to get it right the first time.” This probably includes carrying the brand’s retro-inspired legacy into the electric age.

The new Cheyyar plant will also be equipped to produce RE’s existing model range leading up to 2025. After which, depending on the demand, it can be configured to produce EVs.
