  After several hundred motorcyclists shut down the 10 Freeway so one biker could propose to his girlfriend on the pavement, the California Highway Patrol says criminal charges could be filed. Stock cams and stock valve springs don't put as much of a load on the cam bearings, so the stock bearings are adequate for that application. If you put in a performance cam with more lift, you increase spring pressure so the stress on the cam bearing increases, and of course with a performance cam, you will tend to drive it harder.   With a series of JIMS tools Rogue replaced INA cam bearings with the tougher Torrington jobs.   Check it out!

Like the auto business, the two-wheeled category, in recent years, has been putting an emphasis on less expensive machines with smaller-engine displacement, but that share some features with their bigger, more powerful brethren.   And like autos, the point is to give non-riders a less expensive gateway to the brand, and create life-long loyal customers in the process.
