Yesterday marked 46 years since Burt Munro rode his self-modified 1920 Indian Scout to an under-1000cc land-speed record at the Bonneville Salt Flats.  Munro was 68, riding a 47 year old machine, and his record still stands today. No tribute could truly do this man justice, but this one was for you Burt: Advertisement

The Biker Belles Ride is a “Celebration of Real Women, Real Stories and Real Fun” The 5th Annual Biker Belles Ride for A Day was held during the Sturgis Rally on August 6th, and was a tremendous success.  It really does not get any bigger than the Biker Belles Ride, each year they have doubled the number of women joining the ride, and raised more money than the year before.  This year they raised a total of $36,520, which will go to their two favorite charities, helping with Horsepower and The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame.  Read more about the ladies, the ride and much more! Alabama man is set to make history as first blind person to race a motorcycle in Utah time trials. Dan Parker never got above 35 miles per hour, exceedingly slow compared to some motorcycles expected to roar at more than 300 at Bonneville Salt Flats speed trials.
