The Indian Papoose Motor Scooter The Indian Papoose motor scooter was developed after World War II and was based on an earlier motor scooter called the Welbike, which was actually built for the British Army. After the war, John Dolphin – who had been an engineer on the Welbike project – saw an opportunity to re-design these little scooters for the civilian market.  Seeing a need for cheap transportation after the war, Dolphin partnered with Brockhouse engineering to create the British Corgi.  Many of these motor scooters were sent to the United States and re-branded as the Indian Papoose.   Big Names In The Manufacturing Industry Attend Following a very successful event two years ago, Rollie Callow, proprietor of Rollies Speed Shop in Brisbane, once again invited a number of luminaries from the US aftermarket industry to fly down and both visit various dealers of theirs as well as hosting two days at the shop. The state government is banking on “crushing the bikes” to help crush the morale of criminal motorcycle gang members. The government will push through its anti-racketeering laws, billed as “the toughest laws in Australia” when parliament sits this week. As part of those new laws, motorcycles belonging to gang members convicted of certain crimes, will be crushed. We recently partnered with the Orange County Child Abuse Prevention Center to provide critical supplies needed during the victims crisis situation.
