200-HP Ice Chest Wows Crowds In France!

"WTF?" Exclaimed Santa Claus as he came across the Voxan Wattman while shopping for a faster sled. French motorcycle maker Voxan introduced its 800-pound,Ā all-electric two-wheeler at the 'Salon De La Moto' in Paris, France. Apparently following anĀ unfortunateĀ trend, where some manufacturers insist on keeping electric vehicles looking as uncool as possible, Voxan hired theĀ services of French designer Sacha Lakic to work on the 'bulk' of the project. The latter reached deep into his bag of tricks and came up with a cutting-edge new design for a rolling refrigerator. It will zap 0 to 100 in 5.9 seconds, Voxan says.Ā  Although bystanders gave it a lot of attention, don't expect it to unseat any of the industry's incumbent players: they'll be built ...

The New Confederate ā€” Way Too Good For The Likes Of You

To paraphrase Pierre Terblanche, famous South African motorcycle designer now in charge of design for Confederate Motorcycles, here is one of the most outlandish industrial sculptures in existence.Ā Not exactly sporting a name that rolls off the tongue, theĀ Confederate C2 P-51 Fighter is, well... it's just fixin' to kill you, that's all! You probably can't afford to buy one, unless you have a cool batcave, but these machine straight out of Mordor will soon be available on Earth. Just listen to Terblanche's over-the-top enthusiastic sales pitch and feel your blood pulsating through your aching temples as he describes just how bitchin' the C3PO is, from its frame carved out of unobtainium by trained army ants, to the seat made from the ...

Hannigan ā€œ180ā€ Front End

by Triking Viking Once again Hannigan Motorsports sets the new standard for the trike industry with the Hannigan 180 Front End for all Honda Gold Wing trikes and sidecars 2001 to current and all BMW K1600GTL/GT trikes and sidecars 2012 to current. The new Hannigan 180 Front End gives your trike the traction and tire life for which you have been waiting. Until now, the limiting factor for handling on a premium trike has been the front tire. When ridden hard in a curve the stock front tire will start to slip, skip, and chatter. The 180 wide tire included in the front end package stays planted in the curves, providing greater stability and performance. This translates into ...

Doug Coffey's RetroMod Panhead Part 4

RetroMod Rigid Panhead Fuel Tank Text and Photos by Doug Coffey I started building my gas tank with a King Sportster tank shell available from Paughco. The picture shows I have already cut the ends out to receive the tunnel in the bottom. Here I have already started building the bottom from a flat piece of sheet metal I cut out and a tunnel. The tunnel is 1/2 of a piece of automotive exhaust pipe I cut with a plasma cutter and cleaned up on a belt sander. The elongated slots are for adding a rubber mount system. For 2014, the inaugural year for the new Indian Chief built in Spirit Lake, IA, the first 1,901 units were specially badged with commemorative serial numbers.
