QUICK, THE GOVERNMENT TAKE-OVER SUNDAY POST FOR Sunday March 23, 2014

If is wasn’t for the NRA and Bikers Rights Groups we’d be Toast .   Get this from The Week Magazine: Last week was a good week for asking Google anything, after new research revealed that users conduct 1,000 monthly searches for “how to hide a dead body,” 1,900 searches for “how to get away with murder,” and 40,500 for “why did I get married?” Are these searches connected. Then get this: bots can now write news stories before we get a cup of coffee. In a recent paper, “The Future of Employment,” Carl Frey and Michael Osborne of Oxford University estimate that 47 percent of U.S. jobs could be automated in the next 20 years. Waiters, kitchen staff, cashiers, loan officers, accountants, taxi and truck drivers, pilots, retail salespeople, real estate agents, and even soldiers might all be replaced by intelligent robots or sophisticated software. Honda Goes Sci-Fi

Honda just unveiled its a new model intended for production in the near future.  The NM4 was developed under the keywords of “the Neo-futuristic” and “COOL,” pursuing new, unique styling. This NM4 was designed to realize two points; the design concept “the Front Massive Styling” and “the cockpit position” focusing on the sense of unity with the rider, that the rider can smoothly get into the vehicle. The low-setup cockpit position and adjustable backrest provide an enjoyable new riding feel. The instrument panel was designed to provide clear readability and the fun riding, as if the rider was experiencing part of a movie scene. LED lamps are used on the headlight of the powerful-looking front fairing, the tail lamp and the turn signals. In addition, the utility boxes are set up on the right and left sides of the front fairing for small articles. Two NM4 types were unveiled at the motorcycle show; the simply-configured “NM4-01” which emphasizes its wide, dynamic rear tire and attractive low silhouette, and the “NM4-02” which emanates a unique presence and features a prominent rear design (containing utility boxes on each side of the rear body). The NM4 will also be exhibited at the 41st Tokyo Motorcycle Show from Friday, March 28 to Sunday, March 30 at Tokyo Big Sight.

Boner Beemer?

A California judge last week tossed a lawsuit against BMW of North America LLC and Corbin-Pacific Inc. by a man who claimed a four-hour motorcycle ride gave him a long-lasting erection, finding that an expert could not connect the motorcycle’s vibrations to the condition. Judge James McBride granted motions for nonsuit from BMW and Corbin-Pacific on March 14, the fifth day of trial. Plaintiff Henry Wolf filed the suit in April 2012, blaming his erection on tissue damage caused by the design of a “ridge-like” Corbin-Pacific…

Daytona Wrap-Up Thursday News For March 20, 2014

Daytona’s done and spring is sprung. Like a dipshit I started tinkering with my Spitfire girder again, so my bike is torn down. I want to ride, find another redhead and escape. I watched an old movie called “Monty Walsh,” the other night. It was about a bunch of cowboys at the end of their era. It was about the Code of the West (1970) and starred Lee Marvin. Sometimes I feel like the aging biker facing a changing society. What a pile of bullshit. Let’s hit the news before I get in trouble. Read it all!

Killing Machine Choppers — Run what ya Brung Drags — The Beginning

Drag Racing down the strip in Old Idaho town. We moved into our new shop in October 2009. The new shop was nice, all asphalt (no weeds to kill) and we didn’t have to drive 20 miles or more round trip every time we needed something. The very first time I needed a washer and was able to walk to the store across the street was so cool. There were also three bars within in one block. It reminded me of my childhood back on the Strip in Rockford Hellioins. The riverfront was a nice hot spot for a shop. READ ARTICLE!

Captain Japan Comes to Bikernet

Chica Knows How to Build Traditional Custom Bikes, Maintain a Family and the Code of the West. Chica is an interesting builder, and I’ve followed his chopped talents for years. He came to the United States in 1995 from Japan. “Now they don’t want me at the Moon Eyes Show in Japan,” Chica said. “I’m just another Japanese guy.” This bike was built for Chica’s ’07 Biker Build-Off television series episode directed by Hugh King. By then, the reality of TV Build-Offs was sinking in. This episode, culminating in Texas, was Chica’s third Build-Off effort. READ MORE HERE! Advertisement   Advertisement

Queensland Biker Films Police As He's Being Harassed

We wanted you to take a good look at what appears as blatant police harassment toward bikers in Australia. This video has gone viral and was posted by an Aussie biker who was harassed by multiple police for wearing his clubs vest. Rider James Evans, who has been stopped a startling 21 times since buying his fatboy motorcycle in 2012, finally filmed his latest incident. Queensland Police Media have responded to Jamie’s video saying riders and the public have “nothing to fear” from the increased police presence. You be the judge.
