“WTF?” Exclaimed Santa Claus as he came across the Voxan Wattman while shopping for a faster sled.
French motorcycle maker Voxan introduced its 800-pound, all-electric two-wheeler at the ‘Salon De La Moto’ in Paris, France. Apparently following an unfortunate trend, where some manufacturers insist on keeping electric vehicles looking as uncool as possible, Voxan hired the services of French designer Sacha Lakic to work on the ‘bulk’ of the project. The latter reached deep into his bag of tricks and came up with a cutting-edge new design for a rolling refrigerator. It will zap 0 to 100 in 5.9 seconds, Voxan says.
Although bystanders gave it a lot of attention, don’t expect it to unseat any of the industry’s incumbent players: they’ll be built by hand, one at a time, for an “exclusive international clientele.” Thank heavens!
