He’s never even competed in the Dakar Rally, yet Jeremias Gonzalez Ferioli has already claimed his first record.
He turned 18 in December, and will join the starting line of the 2014 edition of Dakar as it’s youngest participant ever.
The Argentinian quad biker set his sights on Dakar almost 4 years ago, when he was competing in the Argentinian off-road championship.
He won an entry by winning the Dakar Challenge in 2013.
There’s one small glitch though, in order to compete in Chile, he will have to pass his motorcycle licence first, something he’s confident won’t be an obstacle.
