Hey,
It’s interesting and I’m constantly searching for the correct path. I have my ear to the ground constantly is search of solutions for the political issues attacking us. But I don’t see concern for these issues in many main publications.
So there’s a question or two. Don’t they care? Do they believe we’re doomed, so they should just make money quick, before we are legislated out of existence? Are we just simple minions and don’t know what’s good for ourselves, so leave well-enough alone? You got me.
On the other hand there are smart folks who are fighting for freedoms and our rights to build cool shit and performance shit. That’s the other side of the coin.
Let’s hit the news and wonder whether we should be flying under the radar and hiding in the shop or storming the Empire.
FIX FOUND for VA broke again–
Here is my way to fix the VA Hospitals. Rent them out and abolish the VA health system. It would save millions if not billions of US dollars. Let the Veterans have a card to go to any health provider. They would search for the best and finally get the best medical care in the USA. If abolishing the VA because it is too big our politicians will not do than give us the choice to go where we want outside of the VA control or go to the VA. The VA would improve due to competition. Any way the Veteran would get great medical care.

GUN NUT REPORT--CCRKBA: Media Needs to Start Calling Vehicles ‘Assault Weapons’
A murderous madman killed ten people and wounded 15 others in Toronto on Monday. His weapon of choice… a rental van.
Leadership at the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms is now calling for the liberal media to start correctly identifying vehicles for what they are: “assault vehicles” or even “assault weapons.”
After all, these death traps are responsible for killing 37,461 people in the U.S. in 2016.
“What happened in Toronto Monday was a horrible tragedy,” said CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb in a press release. “Fatal vehicle attacks have been increasing. The 2016 Nice terror attack killed more than 80 people. Last year a man driving a rental truck killed eight people on a bicycle path in New York City. Also last year, 13 people were killed in Barcelona, eight more died in a car attack in London and four were killed in Stockholm. If a gun had been the weapon instead of a vehicle, all of those would have been mass shootings.
“How should we define an ‘assault vehicle,’” he wondered. “Is it a van or truck? Does it have a high-powered engine? Does it have an automatic transmission? Can it be fitted with a high capacity fuel tank? Do they all come in solid black, or are other colors available? Can they be equipped with large mufflers to suppress engine noise? Once we define them, should we ban them, require special training to operate them, or just raise the age limit to buy or rent one?
“Or is the problem the individual driver, rather than the equipment he turns into a weapon,” Gottlieb challenged. “Once you realize how absurd it is to call a car an ‘assault vehicle,’ you see the lunacy of defining, and then banning, so-called ‘assault rifles.’

“Instead,” he suggested, “we need to focus the blame where it belongs, on the deranged, violent person who commits the violent act. We don’t reflexively demonize every other motorist for the acts of a madman, so why do some people insist on penalizing every gun owner for the acts of criminals?
“The time has come to stop this blame-shifting nonsense,” Gottlieb said. “It is deceptive and dishonest, and doesn’t prevent or solve anything.”

MOTORCYCLE BANS–Singapore to ban pre-2003 motorcycles in 10 years
Motorcycles registered before July 1, 2003, will be banned from the roads in Singapore in 10 years as the small island nation tries to reduce air pollution. Both everyday riders and fans of classic motorcycles are irate and are questioning the government’s data.
The Singapore National Environment Agency recently announced that the older motorcycles will be illegal after June 30, 2028. In announcing the change, the NEA said that motorcycles make up 15 percent of Singapore traffice but produce 50 percent of the carbon monoxide from vehicles, and older motorcycles pollute the most. New motorcycles sold in Singapore must meet the strict Euro 4 standards in place in Europe. Many motorcyclists questioned the NEA’s pollution estimates, but the agency has stood firm on its plan to get the bikes off the road.
Owners of older bikes are facing the prospect of having to scrap their bikes or export them, since they will no longer be legal after 2028. Motorcycles over 35 years can be registered under a “classic” designation, but can only be used with tight restrictions. But a motorcycle from, say, 2000, will not be old enough in 2028 for classic registration nor new enough to be used on the street. It will be essentially illegal and worthless in Singapore.
One despondent rider who posted on the Singapore Classic Motorcycle Group Facebook page under the name Chris Chow said that maybe the only thing left to do for owners and lovers of old bikes is to use up their machines while they can.
“I think for some of you, it’s time to ride the shit out of your bikes,” he wrote. “No, not abuse. Use them as they were intended. If they’re tourers go for that tour. We have a few more years for that. Redline!!! Enjoy your ride, folks.”
Even before the new rule, Singapore motorcyclists felt under seige. Singapore has a policy of zero vehicle growth on its congested roads. (The video above shows a typical motorcycle commute.) To control the number of vehicles, there are a limited number of Certificates of Entitlement available, which go up for bid at auction. COEs are good for either five or 10 years and can cost as much as the vehicle itself, whether a car or motorcycle.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=85&v=gJZj5lc9Dfk
The Singapore Motor Cycle Trade Association says the government has been squeezing motorcyclists by shifting some of the finite number of COEs from Category D for motorcycles to an “open” category for other vehicles. This despite the fact that increasing the percentage of motorcycles would help reduce traffic congestion, as the SMCTA argues in the video below.
The NEA has offered motorcycle owners incentives of up to S$3,500 (US$2,625) if they scrap their bikes within the next five years. That might be enticing to owners of cheap motorcycles, but even a new Honda Grom costs S$5,000 in Singapore, and that’s before you pay for the expensive COE. The cost fluctuates, but the SCMTA’s video shows a recent average of above S$6,000. So the incentives would cover only a fraction of the cost of replacing a pre-2003 motorcycle with a new Euro 4-compliant model.
While we have seen restrictions on motorcycles in cities ranging from London to Paris to Bogotá, Colombia, for reasons ranging from pollution to congestion to crime, the everyday riders of Singapore, who can’t afford a car and don’t want to resort to overcrowded public transportation — or who use their motorcycles for business, such as food deliveries — are facing the harshest future I’ve seen yet.

NEWS FROM THE CLIMATE DEPOT–
I know guys in automotive and m/c parts business who will not sell in CA over the confusion and cost to prove yourself innocent by a product that fits on pre-emission and emission complaint models.
If CARB came after them they would go for the total number sold regardless of what year they were installed on.
The strict rules and regs stifle out innovation, if you make a product that is clean there has to be a reg for it and the testing process will likely make you walk away unless there is a market to sell a lot of products

NRA and CRPA Attorneys File Federal Lawsuit Challenging California’s Ammunition Sale Restrictions–NRA and CRPA attorneys filed an important lawsuit challenging California’s restrictions regarding the sale or transfer of ammunition.
These restrictions, enacted in 2016 as part of the “Gunmageddon” bills and Proposition 63, require all ammunition sales and transfers to be conducted via face-to-face transactions at California licensed firearm dealers or licensed ammunition vendors. And beginning July 1, 2019, all ammunition purchasers will be required to pass a background check before taking delivery of any ammunition.
Leading the lawsuit is Kim Rhode, a six-time Olympic medal winner who uses specialized ammunition approved by the International Shooting Sport Federation during the competitions she participates in. Joining her are several other law-abiding California gun owners and the following out of state businesses, who can no longer ship ammunition directly to their California customers:
Able’s Sporting, Inc. (also known as “Able Ammo”)- Located in Huntsville, TX, Able Ammo specializes in discount hunting supplies, shooting supplies, hunting firearms, discount ammunition, and other firearm related accessories. Visit their website at https://www.ableammo.com/.
Ammunition Depot- Located in Boca Raton, FL, Ammunition Depot was founded by freedom-loving Americans who know that 1) It is every American’s right and responsibility to defend themselves, their family, and country; and, 2) without ammunition, none of that is possible.
Visit their website at https://www.ammunitiondepot.com/.
Sam’s Shooters Emporium- Located in Lake Havasu City, AZ (just outside of California), Sam’s Shooters Emporium celebrated 20 years of business as the largest indoor shooting range in Arizona. The owners of Sam’s Shooters Emporium, Sam Scarmardo and his wife, are dedicated supporters of the Second Amendment and both NRA Life Members.
Visit their website at http://www.samsguns.com/.
The lawsuit, titled Rhode v. Becerra, challenges California’s new ammunition sales restrictions as a violation of the Second Amendment and Commerce Clause of the United States Constitution.
The filing of Rhode marks the fourth lawsuit filed by NRA and CRPA attorneys challenging the provisions of Proposition 63 and the other “Gunmageddon” bills. Once such lawsuit, titled Duncan v. Becerra, has already succeeded in obtaining an important injunction against Proposition 63’s ban on the possession of magazines capable of holding more than ten rounds. The other two lawsuits, titled Rupp v. Becerra and Villanueva v. Becerra (both of which challenge California’s “assault weapon” restrictions and registration requirements), are also seeking injunctions while those lawsuits are pending.
Continue to check your inbox and the California Stand and Fight web page for updates on the Rhode case, as well as the other “Gunmageddon” lawsuits and important Second Amendment issues in California and throughout the nation.

1) An average man’s balls hold up to 6 shots of semen.
2) Each shot contains around 500 million sperms, thus a man’s balls holds like 3 billion sperms.
3) Each sperm has 37 MB of DNA information in it. Therefore it follows that balls contain over 10 TB of data!
4) An average ejaculation lasts 3 seconds, during which the penis transfers over 1.5 TB of data. This means a transfer rate of over 500 GB/s.

ALARMIST ALERT–Environmentalists Scared Stiff
A proposed rule announced Tuesday by Scott Pruitt, administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, is intended to bring much-needed transparency to agency rule-making.
The environmental lobby is positively apoplectic about the proposal (naturally), even though it aligns perfectly with its long-held commitment to the public’s “right to know” principle.
The proposed regulation would require the EPA to ensure that the scientific data and research models “pivotal” to significant regulation are “publicly available in a manner sufficient for validation and analysis.”
Despite existing rules on government use of scientific research, federal agencies routinely mask politically driven regulations as scientifically-based imperatives. The supposed science underlying these rules is often hidden from the general public and unavailable for vetting by experts. But credible science and transparency are necessary elements of sound policy.
The liberal Left continue to push their radical agenda against American values. The good news is there is a solution.
The opposition from greens and much of the media greeting Pruitt’s announcement is, frankly, hypocritical in the extreme. Opponents claim that the EPA’s regulatory power would be unduly restricted if the agency is forced to reveal the scientific data and research methodologies used in rule-making.
But that is precisely the point. The EPA should no longer enjoy free rein to impose major regulations based on studies that are unavailable for public scrutiny.
Their claim that research subjects’ privacy would be violated is groundless. Researchers routinely scrub identifying information when aggregating data for analysis. Nor is personal information even relevant in agency rule-making.
Meanwhile, the EPA and other federal agencies are duty-bound to protect proprietary information.
Transparency in rule-making is vital to evaluating whether regulation is justified and effective. It is also essential to testing the “reproducibility” of research findings, which is a bedrock principle of the scientific method.
It takes real chutzpah for the champions of environmental “right-to-know” laws to now claim that the EPA should not be required to make public the scientific material on which regulations are based.
The public’s “right to know” was their rallying cry in lobbying for a variety of public disclosure requirements on the private sector as well as state and local governments, including informational labeling; emissions reporting; workplace safety warnings; beach advisories; environmental liabilities; and pending enforcement actions, to name a few.
The proposed rule is hardly radical. It aligns with the Data Access Act, which requires federal agencies to ensure that data produced under grants to (and agreements with) universities, hospitals, and nonprofit organizations is available to the public through the Freedom of Information Act.
However, the implementation guidance from the Office of Management and Budget has unduly restricted application of the law.
Moreover, the Information Quality Act requires the Office of Management and Budget “to promulgate guidance to agencies ensuring the quality, objectivity, utility, and integrity of information (including statistical information) disseminated by federal agencies.”
However, the law’s effectiveness has been limited by a lack of agency accountability. Courts have ruled that it does not permit judicial review of an agency’s compliance with its provisions. The proposed rule is also consistent with the Office of Management and Budget’s Information Quality Bulletin for Peer Review.
The proposal also mirrors legislation passed by the House last year to prohibit the EPA from “proposing, finalizing, or disseminating a covered action unless all scientific and technical information relied on to support such action is the best available science, specifically identified, and publicly available in a manner sufficient for independent analysis and substantial reproduction of research results.”
A Senate companion measure failed to advance to a vote.
The EPA regulation has expanded exponentially every decade since the 1970s at tremendous expense to the nation. Secret science underlies some of the most expansive regulatory initiatives.
President Donald Trump has focused significant attention on re-establishing the constitutional and statutory boundaries routinely breached by the agency. The special interests that thrive on gloom and ever-increasing government powers are attempting to block the administration’s reforms at every turn.
But their opposition to the proposed transparency rule sets a new low for abject hypocrisy.
