Victory Motorcycles has a busy weekend planned for the Long Beach International Motorcycle Show, Dec. 7-9, including: The introduction of a Factory Custom Painted Cross Country, the debut of a Buffalo Chip Custom Bagger styled by Cory Ness, Victory demo rides, autograph sessions featuring Playboy Playmates and “The Gunny” (actor R. Lee Ermey), a Toys for Tots gift collection – and more.
“The Long Beach IMS is always a high-energy show with a lot of Victory riders turning out,” said Victory Marketing Manager Josh Fulkerson. “Riders need to check out everything from the Victory demo rides outside the convention center to the incredible Victory Bagger Bar and accessory wall at our display inside.”
Victory Celebrates Baggers at Long Beach — Victory offers bagger riders the best selection of premium baggers, including the Cross Country®, Cross Roads® Classic, Hard-Ball™, and the Zach Ness Cross Country®. All of these models will be on display at the Long Beach IMS, where Victory will celebrate baggers with:
• The unveiling of two special baggers: A Factory Custom Painted Cross Country and a one-off Buffalo Chip Custom Bagger styled by Cory Ness.
The Factory Custom Painted Cross Country will be unveiled at 5:15 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, at the Victory display. It will be on display – and available in the Victory demo ride fleet – the rest of the weekend.
The Buffalo Chip Custom Bagger will be unveiled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, followed by a Cory Ness autograph session. Cory will also sign autographs at the Victory display on Saturday, Dec. 8, at noon and at 6 p.m.
• Riders will be able to take a seat at the Victory Bagger Bar and discuss Victory baggers and accessories with Victory engineers, product developers and accessories specialists.
Victory Demo Rides Saturday & Sunday — Demo rides on 2013 Victory models will start from the parking lot of the Long Beach Convention Center from 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 8-9.
All Victory models are represented in the demo fleet, including cruisers such as the Victory Judge and all-new Boardwalk, touring models like the Cross Country Tour, and baggers, including the Factory Custom Painted Cross Country that will be unveiled at the show.
Victory Salute to Military Personnel — The Long Beach IMS opens on Dec. 7, National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, and Victory is offering a weekend-long special salute to military personnel. Several U.S. Marines will be stationed at the Victory display to oversee collection of donations for Toys for Tots. Marines and Marine Reservists have collected and distributed holiday gifts for needy youngsters across America every year since 1947.
Also appearing at the Victory display will be Marine veteran, actor and Victory rider R. Lee Ermey, “The Gunny” in the film “Full Metal Jacket.” Gunny will sign autographs at the Victory display on Friday, Dec. 7, from 7-8 p.m., and three times on Saturday, Dec. 8: 10-11 a.m., 2-3 p.m. and 7-8 p.m.
The Victory Military Priority Program lets any demo rider who is currently serving in the military get a special wristband good for first choice of Victory demo bikes.
Playmates to Make Appearances — Two Playboy Playmates featured in the 2013 Victory Motorcycles product brochure – Raquel Pomplun, and Anna Sophia Berglund – will sign autographs at the Victory display on Friday, Dec. 7, from 6-7 p.m., and three times Saturday, Dec. 8: 11 a.m.-noon, 4-5 p.m. and 7-8 p.m.
