Exhibitor shares how attendance impacted their business during the economic slow down and during the boom years.
“Attending the V-Twin Expo helped us grow through the boom and during the slow down” explained Ben Franklin, International Sales & Events Manager, Freedom Performance Exhausts. “We’ve been displaying at the V-Twin Expo for over 8 years. We attended the Expo in our first year of operation. Our booth was small and quite a distance from our home base in Southern California. Being the new guys it was amazing to meet and introduce our Freedom Performance Exhausts. The show was a success and without doubt the reason we became successful. At that show we signed over a dozen stocking dealers and took orders on the spot. The second year we signed our first overseas distributor, and each year since the response increases. In our third year, we signed with a major US Distributor. Over the years, we’ve signed dealers throughout Europe, Australia, Japan, South Africa, Canada, Mexico, Indonesia, Korea, Brazil, China (mainland and Taiwan), Qatar, and Guam. We met each and every one of these dealers/distributors at the V-Twin Expo. Without doubt, there is no amount of money we could spend, in any form of media, to allow us the means to meet face to face with so many prominent opportunities. The V-Twin Expo has put Freedom Performance Exhausts on the map. We are excited to be part of this venue again”.
