Hey,
I started to watch 1923 last night. Something struck me. It was the time of prohibition. People screamed at other folks in the streets about the sins of drinking. The brothers rode in on horses to fight goat farmers trying to graze their herds on cattle lands. Everyone needed grass. Some wanted to cheat and scream they had rights.
I feel like we are living through a similar time. It started in Europe and a group decided they wanted to control everything and everything we do. They didn’t just want to control everything but take everything, drive us to be a third world country and give all the wealth to corrupt dictators.
I got caught up in this with the climate doom stuff and how they wanted to destroy the fossil fuel industry including motorcycles. I started to question the motives, and their reasoning fell apart. In fact, it was ridiculous, CO2 a pollutant? That’s insane but they shoved it down our throats.
On top of lies they put in place a plan to bully anyone who didn’t agree. Censorship reigned.
It’s all crumbling and being exposed now, but I have brothers who rail against freedom, capitalism, home ownership and the American dream including building choppers. They want America destroyed under open boarders, cities torn apart and global control. I don’t get it. But it’s all coming out in the wash. We need a line in the sand all Americans can come together over. I believe it’s truth and integrity. If it’s true and supports freedom and the American way, let’s stand strong for it.
Hang on!

CALL TO ACTION AT THE STURGIS MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM–
We are open 10-4 Tuesday through Saturday. come to the old entrance. we have plenty to see and merch to get.
We’re Open Again—But the Work’s Not Over Yet!
When we began our off-season renovations, we quickly discovered areas of the museum that needed more attention and care than expected. While we’re not quite finished, we simply couldn’t keep the doors closed any longer!
We’ve reopened the older part of the building so guests can still enjoy our exhibits and experience history in motion. We’re incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of the motorcycle community as we prepare for the monumental 85th Sturgis Rally.
These renovations have taken more time, effort, heart—and money—than we initially imagined. And we need your help to cross the finish line!
We’re committed to having everything completed in time for the Rally, but to do that, we need a bit more support. Here’s how you can get involved:

Come Visit Us! – Visit and see your favorite bikes and art in person. We do have a couple of new items on display even during this time!
Grab Some Gear – Check out our brand new, snazzy merch and souvenirs! Either in store or online.
Join the Raffle – Enter our popular raffle for a chance to win big while supporting a great cause.
Donate Time, Talent, or Treasure – Whether it’s a monetary gift, volunteer hours, or spreading the word, every bit counts.

Thank you for being a part of our journey—we can’t wait to unveil the fully refreshed museum just in time for the 85th!

INDIAN RIDERS FEST 2025– to mark fifth anniversary
Indian Motorcycle riders are gearing up for their biggest summer event as the Indian Riders Fest (June 19–22) celebrates its fifth anniversary by relocating to a breathtaking new venue on the shore of the Czech Republic’s largest lake, set against the picturesque backdrop of Lipno nad Vltavou, a renowned ski and summer resort.
Since its inaugural 2019 running, the Indian Riders Fest (IRF) has grown dramatically with the 2024 event attracting over 3,750 attendees from 39 countries. To support this growth and provide a bigger and better experience for the thousands of passionate riders from across Europe and beyond, the festival has relocated to the vibrant summer resort right in the heart of the South Bohemian Region.
Known for its pristine beauty, the area offers stunning lake views and one of the finest motorcycle riding experiences in the Czech Republic as riders explore the enchanting South Bohemian forest and the serene shores of Lipno Lake. With a selection of 10 captivating rides curated by the organizers under the festival’s 2025 theme, ‘On the Road Again,’ it promises an unforgettable adventure.
“We are delighted to be working again with Jean-Marie Guyon to make IRF25 the best yet at this outstanding new venue. Every year, the growth of the festival has been incredible and the feedback we get from our riders about the IRF is always superb, a reflection of the hard work that Jean-Marie and his team put into to make the event what it has become. This premium location is a fitting new chapter for the fifth anniversary of the IRF and will cement its status the biggest international event for Indian Motorcycle riders,” commented Jon Vick, International Marketing Manager for Indian Motorcycle.
Marking the fifth anniversary, a special birthday bash is planned for the evening of June 20 with an exceptional concert for all festival goers to commemorate this milestone in the history of the Indian Riders Fest.
Other standout features of this year’s much-anticipated Indian Riders Fest include:
The Budweis Custom Show (BCS) – the only international custom bike show dedicated exclusively to Indian Motorcycle. The BCS proudly carries the AMD 2025-approved custom show accolade and promises a creative and inspiring showcase by European custom bike builders and Indian Motorcycle dealers.
Petr Pilat’s Spectacular FMX Show – world-renowned Czech Freestyle motorcycle rider, Petr Pilat, will be providing dazzling FMX performances throughout the festival alongside his talented team.
Lottery Grand Prize – open to all attendees, the lottery offers a chance to win a plethora of prizes including the top prize of an Indian Pursuit exquisitely customized with a unique paint scheme, leather seats, Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde exhausts, and an array of genuine Indian Motorcycle accessory parts.

STURGIS IS ROCKING THE RALLY FOR THE 85TH
With help from Wendy Pitlick Black Hills Pioneer
Sturgis City Administrator Aaron Jordan unveiled the city’s plan for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, which is scheduled for Aug. 1-10. This year, Jordan said the city will stick with its most popular events and focus more on preparing staff to deliver quality services.
This year’s city-organized Rally events will include opening ceremonies on Aug. 1; the Mayor’s Ride, Aug. 2; VFW Military Appreciation, Aug. 5; and band performances at Harley Point, located at 985 Harley-Davidson Way. The Spirit of Sturgis TT Race is schedule for Aug. 10. There will be more racing in the region that ever before.
The city reduced the bands hired from 28 to 12.
“It goes back to what was appropriate in the budget,” Jordan said. “We had $44,000, now we have $16,000.”
Jordon is working with the Sturgis Police Athletic League, to see if the organization will take over planning and organizing a Ride with the Police Chief event.“It’s one of those iconic rides that people have enjoyed,” he said.
The city continues to work out who the grand marshal will be for the opening ceremonies parade, coordinating with Ellsworth Air Force Base for a B-1 flyover for the military appreciation event, and identifying veterans who will be honored this year. The Budweiser Clydesdales will be at the Rally again, and the city is working on ways to showcase every attraction.
The city is focused on training new personnel on Rally operations, particularly in the city finance department. The finance office, he said, is responsible for normal financial operations, vendor license processing, vendor inspections, and coordinating with the state for Department of Health and Department of Revenue inspections.
More preparation work is necessary with the fire and ambulance service, and Jordan said he will be meeting with Public Safety Director Geody VanDewater, acting ambulance director James Hale, and Fire Chief Scott Lensegrav to understand the operations and reporting requirements. Jordan said he feels comfortable that those services will be ready to go.
“We’re not doing anything different than what we’ve done in the past,” he said.
Overall, Jordan said he feels very good with the city’s plan for the anniversary Rally in 2025.
We will bring you more inside action rally info in the near future. As the city regroups the rally opportunities expand. Hang on.

MORE ON THE STURGIS MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM WEATHER FRONT–
Here is the exciting update that was shared at the meeting yesterday.
First, we’re thrilled that we officially reopened the museum yesterday! Visitors can now enter through the original entrance at the back, and the gift shop is also open and ready to welcome guests. We’re so glad to have life back in the building and are grateful for your continued support throughout the process.
On the insurance front, the adjuster has been in contact, and I’m happy to report that they have agreed to cover the museum’s claim. There are still a few final details to be worked out, but Fozzy and Tim are in contact with them. We expect the written scope of loss in the next week.
Elite Roofing (Tim) has agreed to take on the job at the amount approved by the adjuster. We do have a $10,000 deductible, Elite Roofing has generously offered a $10,000 donation to the museum to cover it. We’re incredibly fortunate to have such supportive partners who care deeply about our mission and history.
Fozzy has also consulted with the three board members offering their expertise in this matter—Keith Terry, Vinny, and Scot Peterson—and after careful review, they all agreed that Elite Roofing is the best choice for the job. As such, we’ve informed the other contractors that we’ll be moving forward with Elite.
With everything aligning, we’re moving ahead with the roofing work as quickly as possible.
Thank you again for your unwavering support and for the many hours of volunteer work to open.

EL DIABLO RUN IS COMING, BUT THERE’S A CATCH–
Documents required! Mexico is now enforcing the need for an “FMM” Mexican Tourist Card. This is an old rule that we’ve usually just blown off for quick trips like the El Diablo Run. Those days are over for now and if you don’t want to get turned around at best or end up in jail and your bike disappears, take the time to get one.
Here’s how it works, pull through the border crossing in Mexicali and walk back to the border area where there will be an office with a walk-up window. Go to that window with your passport and vehicle registration. The fee “should be” free for a 7-day FMM, but bring some Pesos just in case. We can’t predict whether you will be able to use a credit card or not and they obviously won’t want US dollars, so stop before the border and get some Pesos.
Once you get your FMM, keep it on you at all times. We have been told that there is a checkpoint near San Felipe where this is getting checked. It’s likely you’ll go through the hassle and expense and never have to show it, but what if that’s not the case? Welcome to Baja, and personal risk management.
You can get more info here, FMM MEXICAN TOURIST CARD, but we’ll warn you that online FMM’s have been unreliable according to some friends who live in Baja, and you’ll still have to stop to have it stamped at the border.

WHISKEY CHARLIE FROM THE NUMBER 10 SALOON ELECTED MAYOR–
Charlie Strubble-Mook an active fourth-generation Deadwood resident kicked ass during the election with a runaway victory 385 vote to 88 for the newcomer maniac Blake.
Struble-Mook is currently serving her eighth year as commissioner and is a life-long resident of Deadwood. Her husband Jason Mook stood by her side throughout the process. Jason owns Deadwood Custom Cycles and with Charlie they produce the charity effort Black Hills Motorcycle Show.
“To win by such a large margin is truly humbling, and I don’t take it lightly,” she said. “This wasn’t about one person. It was about all of us coming together to shape the future of Deadwood. I’ve had so many great conversations over the past few months and every single one reminded me why I love this town and the people in it.”
Struble-Mook will be sworn in at the May 5 city commission meeting.

THE ROGUE REPORT–
I do believe we will have good progress on the Profiling Bill and the Right To Work one as well on the Federal Level
I do think we need all the states to pass legislation to enhance penalties for Failure To Grant Right Of Way ( turning in front of a motorcycle)
Motorcycle Safety Starts With Lowering The Collisions With Other Vehicles
Abate of Florida did well with passing F.S. 316.207 – Vulnerable Road User Bill that went into effect July 1, 2024
The issue now is to get law enforcement to start writing tickets for it and for the courts to prosecute
I have written letters to my local police department in Palm Bay and Brevard County Sheriff asking if they are aware of the law and if they are issuing tickets.
I will be writing some more on that and Florida Motorcycle Safety Program soon.

IT’S A TURNING POINT IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD–
It’s not about Trump. I don’t care if you like him or not. I want you to like America and like the American dream. I’m reading a book by Judge Jeanine called Crimes Against America. Here’s a quote: The sad fact is that many of these people are not only okay with the demise of America; they are happy about it.

But at the end of the day we need to ask ourselves what are the options? We can continue to do a better job based around truth and integrity or what, let the UN run a third world planet. I don’t think so. Read, be alert and aware. And support freedom for everyone’s sake.
