Following the success of its debut earlier this year, the second edition of the Michelin Motorcycle Tyre Virtual Exhibition is now available online to visitors around the world under the tagline “The Journey Continues” – with a better interface, new interactive zones and Michelin’s latest motorcycle tyre innovations.

This worldwide online event is live everyday round-the-clock, until the end of the year.

Among the new additions to the exhibition are the integration of The Michelin Guide, to reinforce Michelin as the pioneer beyond tyres; the inclusion of the history of Michelin’s involvement in the FIM MotoE World Cup, which reflects Michelin’s passionate pursuits of motorsports that result in the development of new tyre solutions under its “All Sustainable” vision, while providing safer, cleaner, and high-performing mobility for everyone; and the introduction of newly-launched motorcycle tyres that incorporate Michelin’s latest technological advancements – namely, Michelin Anakee Street and Michelin Road Classic.

Prichapakorn Dangrojana, Michelin two-wheel commercial director for Asia, says the virtual exhibition not only provides visitors with the latest insights into Michelin’s world of motorcycle tyre innovations, but also an opportunity to deeply experience other exciting journeys of Michelin in Asia and around the world.

The virtual exhibition consists of six halls, each of which is designed to highlight different content – namely, The Michelin Guide providing all the necessary information for exciting culinary experiences; Launch Area showcasing the two newly launched products: Anakee Street, a great tyre for roads and trails and Road Classic, the tyre that offers modern technologies to make the most of today’s classic motorbike; Product Display providing detailed information on all Michelin motorcycle tyres; Technology & Performance detailing advanced technologies with a completely new design.

Meanwhile, the MotoGP & Motorcycle Racing Strategy hall features a broad overview of Michelin and MotoGP’s long-standing relationship, profiles of Michelin motorcycle tyres and riders in the 2021 MotoGP season, videos of MotoGP riders and races, plus the newly-added insight into Michelin’s involvement in the FIM MotoE World Cup and Partnership with Original Equipment Manufacturers, demonstrating the power of Michelin’s partnership with the world’s leading motorcycle manufacturers and displaying a large selection of motorcycle models fitted with Michelin tyres.

MILWAUKEE, WI (June 21, 2021) – Harley-Davidson announces a new mid-season motorcycle reveal, “From Evolution to Revolution.” This virtual launch experience will be held July 13, 2021, at 10 a.m. CDT. Barnes Harley-Davidson Launches Squad Wars With Eventzee

Freeze Tag, a leading creator of location-based mobile social games, announced today that Barnes Harley-Davidson launched their second year of virtual community engagement events using their Squad Wars: Coast to Coast‬ app (formerly known as Barnes Nation: Game of Barnes). Utilizing Eventzee technology, “Squad Wars” has riders driving to landmarks and businesses throughout Western Canada and the United States.

Those interested in participating will first need to download the Squad Wars: Coast to Coast‬ app and create an account. Once that is done, it is recommended to visit the Squad Wars webpage to either create or find a squad to join, before doing so in the app. The new game utilizes underlying Eventzee technology which allows for team play. The challenges will require a majority of squad members to complete them before their points will be counted on the leaderboard. The virtual events, which feature gps, photo, video, and quiz challenges, are expected to end sometime in September.

There are actually 2 Squad Wars events players can join when competing — the Squad Wars West Coast event and the Squad Wars East Coast event. The West Coast event is run by Barnes Harley-Davidson, while the East Coast event in conjunction with Blackbridge Harley-Davidson. Players can join the event of the dealership they’ve purchased from. The squads that are at the top spots in the leaderboards when the events are over will receive custom squad helmets, custom squad jackets, and an engraved trophy.

Honda CB-F Concept revealed: Announces virtual motorcycle show

Due to the Coronavirus forcing the cancellation of the Osaka and Tokyo Motorcycle Shows, Honda has taken digital measures to showcase its new concept. Say hello to the Honda CB-F Concept retro-sports-naked motorcycle.

Honda was scheduled to premiere its all-new concepts and motorcycles at the 36th Osaka Motorcycle Show 2020 and the 47th Tokyo Motorcycle Show. However, as both events have now been cancelled due to the global epidemic of the coronavirus, Honda decided that they were having none of it and went on with the premiere of their biggest showcase of the event, digitally.

Honda has revealed its new concept motorcycle, the Honda CB-F Concept, a retro-styled sports naked motorcycle, a category that Honda likes to call “Neo-Retro Sports”. Honda has styled the concept to pay homage to the highly popular CB900F/CB750F models as a way to revisit the CB series’ six-decade-long history.

The concept is said to be powered by a 998cc, water-cooled, 4-valve, inline 4-cylinder DOHC engine is said to provide easy power through the rev range and ample torque. How much power and torque is something that Honda has decided to keep to themselves for the moment, although it is paired with a 6-speed transmission. But essentially, the underpinnings of the concept are similar to the CB1000R as the motor is the same 145hp unit that churns out 104Nm for the CB1000R. For suspension duties, Honda has employed inverted forks at the front and a mono-shock rear suspension with a single-sided swingarm which Honda is made from lightweight aluminium. The bike measures 2,120mm in length, 790mm in width, and 1,070mm in height.

Honda’s current global line-up consists of two high-capacity bikes in this segment. They include the CB1100 and the CB1300. The CB-F concept could spawn a replacement for the CB1000R making way for a new “Neo-Retro Sports” bike.

Honda had plans to showcase some more bikes at the now cancelled events. So it has now decided to host a “Honda Virtual Motorcycle Show” on its website where it is showcasing 29 motorcycles covering various categories including the CB-F Concept, all which were supposed to make their debut at the Osaka and Tokyo motorcycle shows.
