Record Attendance at 2023 Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival Celebrating 120 Years of Moto Culture Headline Performances by Green Day and Foo Fighters and Events Across the Milwaukee Area July 13-16 MILWAUKEE (July 17, 2023) – The Harley-Davidson® Homecoming™ Festival, the biggest music-and-moto event to hit Milwaukee this summer, took place from July 13-16 at venues across the Milwaukee area. Moto enthusiasts from all over the world enjoyed the festivities celebrating the rich, 120- year history of the world’s most-desirable motorcycle brand, Harley-Davidson. The Company also announced next year’s Harley-Davidson Homecoming will be July 25-28, 2024. Some key highlights of the 2023 Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival included: Veterans Park on the Milwaukee Lakefront – Performances by Green Day and Foo Fighters On Friday and Saturday night at Veterans Park, music headliners Green Day (July 14) and Foo Fighters (July 15) performed to massive crowds on the Milwaukee lakefront. The shows gathered more than 80,000 moto and music enthusiasts throughout the weekend. Leading up to the headlining acts at the Veterans Park venue, key performances on July 14 included Abby Jeanne, KennyHoopla, Phantogram, and The Cult. On July 15, performances included Ghost Hounds, White Reaper, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, and Cody Jinks. In addition, Nitro Circus, the most explosive crew in action sports, provided an action-packed freestyle motocross show, plus the exhilarating stunts of the Ives Brothers Wall of Death & Ball of Steel, food and beverage vendors, and special merchandise added to the family-friendly entertainment. GEICO Motorcycle Adventure Rally and Camp Set for November 3-5 at Stagecoach Trails Resort Registration is Open San Diego, CA. (May 13, 2022) — The GEICO Motorcycle Adventure Rally & Camp returns to Stagecoach Trails Resort in Julian, Calif., November 3-5. The 2022 event continues to build on the success of past Adventure Rally editions and will feature a wide array of opportunities for riders to test their skill and diversity in a location that is chock-full of discovery for adventure motorcyclists. Registration for the 2022 GEICO Motorcycle Adventure Rally & Camp is now open and can be completed online at www.advrally.com. For participants, an Adventure Rally event registration includes: Event T-shirt, Event Sticker, Custom ADV Rally Map, Custom ADV Rally Clue Book, Plate Sticker and a Gift Bag. The Adventure Rally & Camp is a three-day challenge for riders of any skill level and their bike. During the day, riders take part in self-navigated scenic trail rides and look for elusive checkpoints laid out by the Adventure Rally & Camp staff. At night, competitors build camaraderie, along with industry guests, often around a campfire with movies, music and cold beverages. Teams will take part in challenges on the trails as well in special tests, during the Adventure Rally & Camp. The special tests are conducted at the Stagecoach Trails Base Camp and are designed to test riders overall adventure skills. The Adventure Rally features nearly 100 points of interest to find in an over 100-mile radius from base camp, spread across a vast terrain of mountains, valleys and desert. Friends as diverse as their range of motorcycle brands ride India’s Countryside There is this wonderful group of riders who have accumulated a million kms and plenty more goodwill. Musafirs motorcycle club started in 2010 and camaraderie, discovery, adventure, expertise and fun have ensured that they have been on a group ride almost every month since they started their club. The word ‘Musafir’ literally means ‘traveller’. There is plenty of information about The Musafirs group on their website and social media links. Named in honor of the man known worldwide as the “Nitro Santa,” the inaugural Don “D.J.” Johnson Nitro Spring Nationals sponsored by MTC and Gainesville Harley-Davidson will be a historic event in nitro Harley drag racing. So defending AHDRA Top Fuel champion Ryan Peery will have his hands full at this event, and the whole year as well. The thundering, flaming, nitro Top Fuel bikes are expected to flock to AHDRA races this season like never before. And when memorializing the legend that was D.J. headlines the event, you can expect racers from all over the world to come pay high-peed homage. That includes Japanese H-D dealer Tak Shigematsu—famous for his record-breaking kamikaze attacks down the quarter mile aboard D.J.’s supercharged monster. Two-time NHRA champs Randal Andras and Tii Tharpe will be there, both riding alongside their team boss Jay Turner—a multi-time, multi-sanction champion himself. 2020 AHDRA champ Rich Vreeland will be in the house, along with Bad Apple Racing’s Tracy Kile and Dr. Jimmy “Mac” McMillan.
