Join us for V-Twin Visionary x Harley-Davidson Homecoming and Sturgis Shows & Rides We are excited to return to the Harley-Davidson Museum for the H-D Homecoming festivities. We will be in the same location as last year for the H-D 120th event, right in front of the H-D Museum entry wrapped around the famed Jeff Decker constructed “Hillclimber” statue. As a backdrop to the weekend, VTV and H-D will have a Custom Motorcycle Showcase featuring many of the country’s most current custom bike builds. We will also have all of our partners and sponsors’ parts, components, gear, and clothing on hand to both try and buy. Thursday, July 25th VTV is hosting an unofficial After Party with Jeff and Maggie as your hosts at Elwoods Liquor & Tap from 9 pm till close at 111 Water Street in Milwaukee. Friday, July 26th is the V-Twin Visionary Performance Motorcycle Show presented by Harley-Davidson which is open to any and all Performance-based American V-Twin motorcycles. The event is from 11-4 with registration signups happening at the VTV booth from 9-noon. Saturday, July 27th we are proud to announce that VTV and the H-D Museum will host the Wille G. Davidson Ride-In Custom Bike Show. This show is from 11-4 and any and all American custom and performance V-Twin Motorcycles of any age are welcome. National and Regional News Duluth, Minn. — The 33rd Annual Motorcycle and Scooter Ride To Work Day is Tuesday, June 11. Worldwide, more than an estimated million riders become two-wheeled commuters to demonstrate riding as a fun and practical form of utility transportation. Over 100 American cities formally recognize Ride to Work Day by proclamation, and riding clubs around the world encourage their members to participate in this annual demonstration. According to the Ride to Work nonprofit organization, for hundreds of thousands of U.S. workers, riding is a socially beneficial form of transportation that provides a broad range of other public benefits. According to the United States Census Bureau and the Department of Transportation, over 80 million cars and light trucks are used every day for commuting, and only about 200,000 motorcycles and scooters are a regular part of this mix. On June 11, the practical side of motorcycling and scootering becomes more visible as a higher percentage of America’s 8 million cycles and scooters replace automobiles. The first Ride to Work Day was July 22, 1992. For several years, various motorcycle businesses informally promoted every third Wednesday in July as Ride To Work Day. These early advocates included Road Rider magazine, Dunlop Tires and Aerostich/Riderwearhouse. The event continued to grow as an informal grassroots demonstration every year until 2000. That year a nonprofit organization, Ride to Work, was formed to help organize and promote Ride to Work Day. The first Ride to Work Day led by this group was the third Wednesday in July of 2001. Starting in 2024, the day was changed to the second Tuesday in June to avoid conflicting with  Juneteenth, a United States federal holiday, going forward. Photos and Text by Chris Callen, Cycle Source A good old fandango, kicking-up some dust Texas-style in Fredericksburg. If you’re into motorcycles, chances are you are also into old ones. There’s no better way to snatch a weekend full of antique and vintage two-wheel machines than an AMCA (Antique Motorcycle Club of America) meet. Problem can be some of the AMCA meets are a tad slow-paced, and sometimes if you pull in on a chopper, you’ll get a raised eyebrow or two. That’s not true in Texas, with the Cherokee Chapter of the AMCA. They initiated the Texas Fandango, and 2024 marked the third annual Fandango in Fredericksburg, Texas. It was a huge success.
