Imagine Bikernet Weekly News for April 11, 2019

It’s All Based Around Creative Freedom and the Chopper Gods. Imagine if the concept of life changed dramatically. With the advent of scienctific discoveries and studies, everything is changing rapidly regarding religion, philosophy and nature. It always blows me away, the more I learn the more motorcycling, custom motorcycling and choppers become pure bastions of freedom. According to science we are born, go through the process of growing, living, loving and dying. Simple as that. We are no more than a blossoming flower in your garden. Life comes and then it goes. Ah, but there’s so much more to our lives and what we make of them. Every day we can conjure up our next ride, our next chopper, our next girlfriend (or boyfriend), or our next adventure. Fortunately, we’re around for many seasons, so our opportunities for creative and adventuresome expansion are many fold. So, take advantage of every fucking season you have, ‘cause when you’re gone, you’re gone. Let’s hit the news and ponder the meaning of life. Maybe it’s the pursuit of love and creative freedom and Choppers are creative steel gods we are allowed to ride off into the sunset. CLICK HERE TO READ THE NEWS – in The Cantina. Easyriders National Invitational Bike Show 2019

The Final Chapter of Re-Birth of a Shovelhead By the Stealth There were bikes from all over the country, California, Texas, Michigan, New York, Virginia just to name a few. There was serious competition here! Every style bike was represented, early style choppers, antiques, club style, baggers, drag and retro stock, they were all here! I think there were eight bikes that won the Peoples’ Choice vote, and they were moved into the Invitational class. I love the Shovelhead, the bike is named GLORY DAYS because it takes me back to some of my GLORY DAYS! New World Order Bikernet Weekly News for January 5, 2017

Hey, I received a note from the MRF about a state trying to pass another helmet law.Over the last eight years we’ve seen a shift from a balanced approach to save everything. The notion that if one precious life could be saved we can torture thousands for years to prevent one death. Think about it from two prospectives. First, the worst problem on the planet is overpopulation. And is the design to make health care a mega industry by keeping us alive as long as possible. Of course in the process, our freedoms fly out the window. I’m hoping to see freedom return as a priority in this country and a balanced approach for safety. What do you think? TV Show Featuring Zack Ness Premieres Tonight On Nat Geo Channel

Zach Ness, grandson of motorcycle legend Arlen Ness, now carries the torch of the family empire. Even though bikes are in his blood, Ness is out to distinguish himself as a builder in his own right. National Geographic Channel head out on the highway with Ness and his crew in the new series Let It Ride, premiering Wednesday, August 14, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. Ness and his crew are driven to build the best. They’re on a mission to break new ground in the custom motorcycle world. Sparks will fly, wrenches will turn, bets will be won and lost, and pranks will be dropped on the poor and unsuspecting. But most of all, Ness and the guys will create amazing works of art that roll and perform.    “The hardest part of making this show is not being able to keep the bikes!” jokes Ness. Each week, he and his team take on a new and challenging build. Sometimes inspiration strikes and Ness builds a bike on spec. Other times a client comes to him with a request. Either way, Ness is determined to make the best machine possible, but he can’t do it without his boys.   Cameron Smith, walking motorcycle encyclopedia and eccentric bike hunter, digs up the lost and hidden gems Ness needs. Bryan Simpson, his lead mechanic, is afraid of nothing when it comes to building the perfect beast. Justin Lynch keeps the team on schedule, fields rapid-fire parts requests and puts a tight lid on the budgets. Jim Jennings is a fabricating fiend who can shape and bend any type of metal on the planet.   Premieres Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT
