Sturgis Saloon Company adds more entertainment to Sturgis lineup

The Monsters of Southern Rock have been added to the impressive lineup of bands performing for free on the Sturgis Saloon Company stage during the 2012 Sturgis Rally.

This 2-hour show will begin with the musical classics of Skinny Molly before the rest of the band members play hits from the rest of their respective bands. The Monsters of Southern Rock feature original members of famous bands, such as Lynryd Skynyrd, Blackfoot, Molly Hatchet and Skinny Molly. With hits like “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Free Bird,” “Train, Train,” and the rest, everyone is sure to sing along.

Greg T. Walker, founder and original member of Blackfoot, Jimmy Farrar of Molly Hatchet, Luke Bradshaw, a staple at the Grand Ole Opry and house bassist for the Rockabilly Radio Show on XM Radio, Kurt Pietro of Blackfoot and Skinny Molly, Jay Johnson of Blackfoot and rock guitarist, Mike Estes of Lynyrd Skynryd, Blackfoot and Skinny Molly make up this impressive band. Classic songs performed from their original bands will freshen up the old tunes everyone has grown to love.

This legendary conglomeration of musicians, Monsters of Southern Rock, will be performing at 10 p.m., Friday, August 3rd and Sunday, August 5th at the Sturgis Saloon Company in Sturgis, SD.

Monsters of Southern Rock will be performing along with an already impressive lineup of free entertainment for Sturgis Saloon patrons during Sturgis Rally Week.
