The brothers are at the Long Beach Swap Meet while we pound out the Sunday Post. It’s been sorta overcast.
I’m a nut. I’m not sure where I got it, maybe it was Lou Kimzey, who was the mastermind behind Easyriders. He hired me, at 22 years of age, to the be the manager of ABATE. We fought helmet laws, and for motorcyclists’ rights. I learned that anyone can make a difference, can stand up for your community, school, against the federal government, whatever.
So, I don’t hesitate to get involved in my own humble way. That’s why I recommend to bikers everywhere to support these folks who do step up, and sometimes devote their lives to keeping us free. You can make a difference.
