Norton Delivers British Export Growth

Spain becomes the latest territory for Norton to re-enter after some 30+ years away.  Norton are pleased to announce their partnership with Spanish distributor Corver S.A. who have a long standing history with the Norton brand. They will be pleased to take your enquiries about the Norton 961 Commando range and can be contacted at corver@corver.es and have full contact details on our website.

Canada and USA are anticipated to be the next new export territories for Norton after recent homologation approvals. Paperwork has now been completed and factory production is expected to start for these territories in a matter of days/weeks..

We are also very pleased to announce the successful completion of our Japanese homologation. We are working with our distribution partner to finalise paperwork prior to production.

With the recent success of our global approval process we can now turn our attention to new territories, Australia and New Zealand will be the next territories for Norton to begin the homologation process.

The roll out of new territories clearly means growing motorcycle production. The territory roll out has been planned for some time now and after recently consolidating the supply chain, Norton is once again growing volumes to supply these new markets.

After successfully completing new funding for growth via shareholder investment last year, Norton is well placed to deliver growing volume and further territory openings.

Further to the increased investment, we can also announce today the acquisition of the shares that Norton did not already own in Spondon Engineering Ltd. This gives Norton 100% control and ownership of the renowned 40 year old motorcycle engineering business, we wish retiring founder and partner Stuart Tiller a great retirement and hope he can find some decent fishing to get his rod bent into while he enjoys some relaxed time… The purchase of Spondon gives Norton increased manufacturing ability with it’s skilled workforce and extra capacity. This investment goes further along the route to increase British made components in house and so keep control of supply chain.
