Our friends over at Klock Werks are raffling off an awesome 2010 tricked out Victory Kingpin next Friday, Oct. 26. The bike, Tattooed for Life, honors two men close to the Klock Werks family who were tragically killed in different accidents and represents the importance of organ donation.
Twenty-nine-year old Vic Briggs, a Klock Werks team member, was lost in automobile accident in late June of 2011.
Austin Shimon, 20, a close friend of the Klock Werks family, passed away after a motorcycle accident in 2009. Both Vic and Austin were organ donors, and through their selfless gifts, were able to save the lives of others awaiting organ donation.
The team at Klock Werks decided they wanted to do something to pay tribute to their two lost friends, and also something that would provide financial support through a trust fund to Vic’s family. Vic left four children behind, ranging in age from 9 to 1.
Victory graciously donated the motorcycle and Klock Werks tricked it out, café style, just as Vic would have wanted. Tattooed for Life features many characteristics of Vic from the gas tank featuring Vic’s tattoos to the front fender displaying “BR” in honor of his children, whose names all begin with “Br.” A guitar on the tail section is in remembrance of Austin.
