Indian Motorcycle will display at the Progressive International Motorcycle Show in Chicago which kicks off today at 1 p.m. at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center.
“With winter in the Midwest winding down and the riding season fast approaching, we’re excited to be in Chicago this weekend talking with motorcycle fans and local members of the military about the history-making and awe-inspiring new 2014 Indian Chiefs,” said Polaris Industries Vice President of Motorcycles Steve Menneto. “We’ve set a new benchmark in the industry for power, styling and reliability with these bikes, and everyone owes it to themselves to take a test ride on the new Indians.”
Free Saturday Admission for U.S. Military Personnel
This Saturday, Indian Motorcycle is proud to offer free admission to the Progressive International Motorcycle Show as one small token of the company’s appreciation and respect for U.S. Armed Forces personnel and their families. All attendees with a valid military ID will be admitted to Saturday’s events courtesy of Indian Motorcycle by presenting their credentials at the VIP Service Center. Military attendees are encouraged to visit the Indian Motorcycle exhibit to receive a limited-edition Indian Motorcycle gift.
Experience Indian Motorcycles – Past and Present
Show attendees will want to stop by and explore the 2014 Indian Chief models including the Indian Chief Classic, the Indian Chief Vintage and the Indian Chieftain. Indian Motorcycle exhibit will also include a collection of rare, historically significant motorcycles including the one-of-a-kind ‘Spirit of Munro’ Streamliner, a custom vehicle built by Indian to honor Burt Munro who famously rode into the history books on an Indian in 1962 at the Bonneville Salt Flats. Attendees will also want to check out a collection of fully restored pre-1953 era Indian bikes including a 1948 Vintage Indian Chief and a 1935 Indian Chief originally featured on HISTORY® Channel’s ‘American Pickers’ series.
