Hollister City Council unanimously approves 2013 motorcycle rally

 Monday the city council unanimously approved sanctioning a 2013 motorcycle rally and hired North Carolina-based Worldwide Dynamics as event manager, Mark Crestwell.

Council members voted to revive the city's traditional motorcycle rally, which has been dormant since 2008. They said they will keep a cap on police costs which tanked previous rallies. The local Department of Justice and the California Highway Patrol extorted $385,000 from rally promoter, Seth Doulton in 2008 forcing him into bankruptcy.  We will have more on this report in the Bikernet Thursday news.
