HARLEY REJOINS THE MARVEL UNIVERSE–But there’s more Zeitz is out!

At first, Captain America had gone old school on a 1942 WLA (known as the “Liberator”) in Captain America: The First Avenger, circa 2011.

Very next year Steve Rodgers tools around on a 2012 Breakout Softail in The Avengers, and even more screen time and action in Captain America: The Winter Soldier circa 2014. Then the Captain moved on to a Street 750 in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015). That same bike has a cameo in Captain America: Civil War in 2016.

Captain America’ buddy Bucky Barnes is back in a Harley-Davidson saddle with the Pan America 1250 ST.

“Making its cinematic debut May 2, the all-new 2025 Pan America 1250 ST rolls into Marvel Studios Thunderbolts as Bucky Barnes’ two-wheeled sidekick—ripping through explosions, high-speed chases, and epic stunts,” states The Motor Company’s Hollywood vibe-vine. “When you’re out there owning the road, you need a machine that’s just as relentless.”

We all have been waiting for this announcement for sometime, Harley-Davidson announced that its current CEO, Jochen Zeitz, will be leaving the company to retire. Harley’s press release said the search process for a new CEO commenced sometime in Q4 2024 and that Zeitz would stay on board until “…the appointment of a suitable successor.”

So many companies have been bullied into the Wok world of ultimate control. Some have been paid to do so, but times are changing. We all knew this would happen sooner than later. We also know what Harley represents. It’s the freedom brand and it’s coming back.
