Free Access CrossRoads at the Buffalo Chip Offers Priceless Sturgis Rally Experience

Patrons are already rolling in to the CrossRoads at the Buffalo Chip though the Sturgis rally is still weeks away. The newest entertainment area in Sturgis will feature a full day of world record breaking stunts, multiple days of Mixed Martial Arts, daily greetings by the world famous Budweiser Clydesdales, dance troupes garbed as zombies in addition to live music, comedians, DJ’s and more during the Sturgis rally. Patrons can also visit the world’s largest V-twin engine sculpture or the field of nearly 1000 US flags located at the CrossRoads .This free venue, jam packed with never before seen Sturgis entertainment, gives Sturgis rally visitors a great place to socialize with friends, look at custom bikes, shop unique vendors, enjoy great food, and thrilling entertainment. Events at the CrossRoads start to escalate with the July 30 arrival of the world-renowned Budweiser Clydesdales, who will make the venue their home throughout the course of 2013 Rally Week. Then on Friday, Aug. 2, the event schedule explodes into a continuous nine-day lineup of intoxicating events, hosted by award-winning comedian, Toby Roberts.

At practically any time of day, guests can catch spine-tingling performances from an array of acts like Lee “El Dub” Walsh, Fire Nuns, Midstokke, Iron Cowgirl Missy, The Living Deads, The 4onthefloor, The Tramps, Jimmie Bratcher, Sweet Cyanide, The Mods, Dwight York, The Zombie Dollz and the Sturgis Rider Rhythm Rockers. There will also be plenty of opportunities for patrons to catch electrifying events including Mixed Martial Arts fights, death-defying Guinness Book World Record attempt stunts and the Rolling Sturgis Roller Derby bouts.

The CrossRoads at the Buffalo Chip® also hosts an exciting lineup of exhibits and contests including the Buffalo Chip Fusion Tattoo Contest and LED Bike Show on Tuesday August 6th, the Beauty and the Beast Bike Build Off Contest and the Rat’s Hole Custom Bike Show on Thursday August 8th.

Though they may arrive by bike, there are many adrenaline-pumping ways CrossRoads guests may depart from the Sturgis entertainment hub. Thrill seekers can tower over the crowd by climbing onto an East Coast Extreme Monster Truck Ride or even get a breathtaking view of the Sturgis Rally in the Husker Helicopter.

In addition to events at the CrossRoads, the nine-day Sturgis festival includes performances by Kid Rock, Toby Keith, The Doobie Brothers, ZZ Top, TESLA, Halestorm, Queensrÿche, The Cult, Buckcherry, Rob Zombie, Mastadon, Sublime with Rome, Lynryd Skynryd, Brantley Gilbert, Madison Rising, Alien Ant Farm, Fuel and Lit. 

Concerts are free with camping, and passes also grant guests access to the Bikini Beach swim paradise, 25 bars, thrilling exhibits, and outrageous events.
