As friends and sponsors of Flying Piston Events and the Builders Breakfast in Sturgis we want to update you on the tiny Strider Customs that were unveiled in Sturgis. On Wednesday, January 23, they’re rolling across the auction block at Mecum Las Vegas and we’re excited to get the word out.
It’s the culmination of the Inaugural class of Strider Customs and they’re bound to be showstoppers! We are so grateful for this opportunity at Mecum’s world class event, spearheaded by Ron Christenson. No event has a higher profile and it’s the talents of our builders that convinced the higher-ups to make space for us: Rick Fairless, Paul Yaffe, Jody Perewitz, Kirk Taylor, Pat Patterson and Bryan Fuller.
Auction attendees will see the Striders up close and personal: we’ll have them on display in the auction hall at South Point Hotel & Casino beginning Monday at 10:00 a.m. The bikes are also at Mecum’s site here: https://www.mecum.com/auctions/las-vegas-motorcycle-2019/lots/motorcycles/01/23/
There a 12-second slide show here to share : https://www.facebook.com/FlyingPistonBenefit/
Proceeds benefit Motorcycle Missions – a charity that helps veterans with PTSD learn skills and hopefully find carrels and purpose in the motorcycle industry. We also give Tech Ed scholarship to encourage participation in the industry we love.
