The Team at Klock Werks was recently called upon to help Allstate spread the word about it’s Rider Protection Project. The project’s goal is to raise awareness with a collection of programs and applications to help keep riders riding safely. The motorcycle chosen as the vehicle for this message is the 2015 Indian Roadmaster. Klock Werks worked with TexEFX and created a paint scheme to portray the Allstate colors and logos. Specific parts were chosen to set this bike up to tour the country, of course including the new Klock Werks Flare™ Windshield for Indian, which is available at your Indian Dealership.
“We wanted the focus to be an amazing ride with great safety features. We collaborated with Klock Werks to brand it “Allstate”, and took it to the streets for the first time leading up to Sturgis. Allstate chose motorcycle journalist Jeff Buchanan to ride from Minneapolis to Sturgis, stopping at dangerous intersections flagged within Allstate’s Rider Risk Map on Facebook, and to talk with local media about what Allstate is doing to help build awareness for riders”, said Kevin Byrne, Powersports Marketing for Allstate. “The bike now travels with our rally tour truck, the Mobile Rider Protection Project, which concludes at the Lone Star Rally in early November. It’ll then join the IMS tour and be a part of all the events after that date.”
“Klock Werks is always excited to be a part of projects that involve promoting motorcycle safety and rider awareness”, stated Laura Klock, herself a Motorcycle Safety Foundation Certified RiderCoach. “Many motorcycle accidents happen at intersections each year, so we were excited to learn about Allstate’s Rider Risk Map and the awareness they are bringing by identifying some of the most dangerous intersections out there, as well as the rest of their programs and applications designed to promote safety.”
