Countdown To Sturgis' Music Festival Is On At The Buffalo Chip

The first Friday of the Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s nine-day Motorcycle and Music Festival, Aug. 1, will host “Friday Fest,” a party chocked full of exciting events, specials and hot performances leading up to the headlining performance by Loverboy on the main stage. Guests with Friday Fever will have the chance to see performances from six diverse bands with styles ranging from blues and classic rock to sexy psychobilly and Japanese rockabilly. South Dakota’s longest zip line will be open in the amphitheater for adrenaline junkies wanting to be the first of the season to Zip the Chip. Buffalo Chip’s Bikini Beach will also be freshly primed for guests who want to take a dip in the swimming hole or jump off the rope swing.
