Harley-Davidson in Springettsbury Township will celebrate the factory’s 40th year in the community during its open house Thursday through Saturday.
The event will include free tours, test rides on model year 2014 motorcycles, live music, a stunt show, food vendors and merchandise from five area dealers.
The first motorcycle made at the York County plant will also be on display.
Although children under 12 are not typically permitted on tours due to safety concerns, all children can tour the facility Saturday.
There is no production Saturday, but there is still plenty to see.
Free self-guided tours of the expanded and modernized factory are available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. Open house event hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
